Came very well manufactured. I opted for a clear coat finish (used it to make a dining table in my RV), and couldn’t be happier with it. Nice uniform grain. I did cut one piece that tested stain on, and it had a very nice finish with accepting the stain.

This butcherblock top is perfect for my project. It arrived on time in excellent condition. The packaging was more than adequate to protect the top during transit. The top itself looks great. It already has nice smooth surface that will not even require sanding. I plan on cutting it down to fit a 30" cabinet and finishing it with a food grade butcherblock conditioner. The conditioner will take multiple coats and will darken the wood slightly and bring out the grain. ... show more
