  • Beautiful and quality shoe
Size: 6 Color: Rustic Brown
Like most reviews state, this shoe is snug in the ankle. It doesn’t just slip on which if you are hiking or anything of that nature it’s probably a good feature to have. It fits very well in the foot with a little wiggle room for your piggy’s. I’ve only had them a day and a half, but walked in them while I was trying to complete my steps for the day to break them in and my feet didn’t hurt afterwards. If I decide I don’t like the tight ankle I might try the original Chelsea boot style and see how it compares, but for now I don’t mind the snugness around the ankle so much because I plan on using these for multiple purposes and I think I want it a little snug for hiking. I’ve also seen where some people have bought a gadget that will stretch it out a bit so it’s not quite so tight, so that’s an option too. ... show more

  • Snug, warm, comfortable, a very good winter boot, buy Blundstones.
Size: 10.5 Women/10.5 Men Color: Rustic Brown
To preface, I used to be a sneaker person for many years, then wores standard oxford shoes because work required such dress code. Then I started wearing chelsea boots as an alternative to oxfords and that worked for a while. I started wearing Doc Martens 2976. They have a nice look to them, but offer almost no arch support. So the next progression would be Blundstones since they touted anatomically correct design. I concur that Blundstone's are much more comfortable than the 2976s because there is a moderate amount of arch support. So the ball of my foot and the top of my foot don't ache as much anymore. I've got mostly a desk job, but I could walk around the streets all day with these. What makes these Warm & Dry better than the regular Blundstones (which I also own) is the Thinsulate insulation and the sherpa foot bed. These are now my go to winter boots. It takes about a couple weeks for the sherpa lining to flatten down. When I started wearing these they felt almost a 1/2 size too small, but now that I've broken them in, they are a slightly snugger fit than the usual Blundstones. But this I want because I use it as a winter boot, and want that extra snug fit. As with other Blundstones, the ankle elastics provide a good seal from the elements. That I cannot say about the 2976 which have a really big and loose opening so it sometimes feels like I'm flip flopping around. The Blundstones feels secure and my feet are "with the ground" so to speak. A few small details, these boot only come with the sherpa lined insoles. The regular Blundstones come with two insoles, a regular and one a 1/2 size smaller in case the boots run a tad small. I wish they included regular insoles with these boots so I can wear them when the weather warms up. I did switch out the insoles from my regular Blundstones and they basically have an identical fit, so the sherpa lining adds just that extra bit enough to make it a slightly tighter fit. Last of note is that these boots are made in Vietnam and not in Tasmania. Personally I don't mind where products are made as long as they are high quality. I have not owned an Australian made pair so I don't have a baseline to compare, but I think these boots, for the extra premium they command. As for long term value, let's see how these boots hold up over time. I tend to wear boots year round, and my poor Doc Marten 2976 boots got a nice hole in them after only one year of moderate wear. That is poor value for money in my opinion. I have a feeling these Blundstones will hold up, but I've only had them for about 3 months now. I'll post an update on how they're doing down the line. Finally price wise Amazon has a really good price for these boots especially around Black Friday season. I got these 20% off which drop them down to under 150, which is the best price you can find anywhere. ... show more

  • Great boot!
Size: 9.5 Women/7.5 Men Color: Rustic Brown
Gave them to my granddaughter who is in college. She said they are so comfortable and she did not have to break them in!

  • Cute and incredibly functional
Size: 9.5 Women/7.5 Men Color: Steel Grey
I love these boots! I have had them for almost 2 years now and I still use them often. Super cute with jeans or sometimes I wear them with yoga pants with a cute fleece or wool sock sticking out from the top of the boot. They are cute and very comfortable, but the best part is how functional these boots are. I can wear them out and about downtown and they are great hiking shoes too. I’ve hiked for miles in the mountains with them, stepping through creeks or walking in the snow. They are pretty waterproof, clean up nicely for those times I’ve gotten them muddy, and they are super easy to put on. ... show more

  • The Perfect Boot for Field Work
Size: 7 Color: Rustic Brown
These fit true to size for me. They definitely take several wears to break in, so I recommend planning for that time. I have very high arches, so I put a slim insert in them for extra support. Now that I have broken them in, I can easily walk for miles/hours in these without issue. They do take a bit of muscle to get off after a long day and my feet have swollen in the heat, but it gets easier once they are broken in. They look professional enough to wear into the office, but are sturdy enough to get out in the field and tramp around. I love these boots and I get questions and compliments about them all the time. I highly recommend these to anyone that needs a sturdy work boot. Well worth the investment! ... show more

  • Painful as hell
Size: 7.5 Women/5.5 Men Color: Rustic Brown
It was very comfortable for the first week or two and then randomly felt like a knife was being pushed into the back of my right ankle and it’s been nonstop for a week+ now. I’ve attempted more socks, less socks, moleskin, etc and I can barely walk in them. I’d return them and try a new size but I’ve scuffed them already so I doubt I’d get a refund. I was super excited for them and loved them at first but now it is excruciatingly painful to walk in them and especially to take them off so really disappointed. ... show more

  • Ever so slightly disappointed
Size: 7.5 Women/5.5 Men Color: Rustic Brown
I was just really expecting the, "they fit like butter" situation but it hasn't come yet. I do love them, I just wish they were a little more comfortable. I haven't worn them a ton yet so, TBD still. I had to get a size larger than my normal for a wider fit. My normal size felt great but they gave me horrible blisters the size up feels slightly too wide (which is probably better for my foot anyway) but no blisters. Haven't taken them in any hills yet though. Hoping it's just needing to break them in. I also wore the smaller size just one time and they creased and were easily scratched so that was interesting. Planning to put mink oil on these. They are water proof and warm though! Which is amazing as I live in Washington state. I know that seemed like a lot of complaining lol but I'm actually really happy with them and how they look. Just be very aware of the sizing and realize they may not fit as perfect as you're expecting. ... show more
