I had also ordered 3 other pairs of shoes I had purchased in preparation as well. These showed up next day, and I tried them along with the other pairs…I was still skeptical. I was concerned as they were very hard to get in and out of..Finally, I tested them at work. WOW! Comfort! They continued to be hard to get I. And out of for a full week of use but after breaking in, they Were The Best! Follow the online advice about ordering. But these boots have now been all OVER France and they are my new favorite thing. Overall I love this boot. High quality material that can be worn in any weather- rain or snow. A big down fall of this boot is that it can be difficult to get on and off, especially if you have high arches. I would recommend getting a half size bigger than what you would typically wear.

a bit hard to get into and out of, but very comfortable. i’m a 7.5 in sandals/heels and an 8 in sneakers/boots, and the 8 fits great. the heel makes it a bit dressier but not harder to walk in.

High instep? Pass on this style

I've been a dedicated Blundstone owner for many years, always replacing the worn out ones with the same model. This time I decided to try the sexier cowboy styled version. On the plus side, these boots are incredibly well made. Solid construction I've come to expect. On the minus side, because I have a high instep and the boots are pretty snug, I am experiencing substantial pain on the top of one foot. I plan to continue to break the boots in, as they are getting looser with each wearing, but I also bought a classic pair of Blunnies and am currently wearing them without discomfort. I usually wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 womens (USA) in this boot. It fits great. The heel is a comfortable height for everyday wear. They go on and off easily. The loops help with pulling them on. Worth the price.
