It seems to be very well made and constructed, all parts were easy to put together (wish they would provide a ratcheting wrench with this thing, as there are tons of screws) but my husband had one so we used that instead! My two boys (ages 15 mo and 2.5 years) have played with it almost every single day since we got it out of the box five months ago. Fantastic indoor toy for getting out energy during the winter months. The perfect age for this toy seems to be 18-24 mo, as my 15 mo old hasn't figured out how to climb it yet, and it's a little too easy for my 2.5 year old. This has been such a fun activity for my 7 month old. She started crawling at 6 months and is such a busy body and always tries to pull herself up and wants to walk so badly. As a new mom who wants to have multiple kiddos, I was considering a toy that would keep my kids attention and would encourage them in their development and motor skills. Something that was meant for them to thrill seek safely under adult supervision always. This product from Bluewood was just that! We bought this for our 8 month old who was quickly becoming mobile. We didn't have much furniture that he could use to walk along or climb on so we began looking. When we saw the Montessori Wooden Climbing Set, we knew that we would get our time and money's worth from this. Our son has better balance, center of gravity and strength from playing and climbing. He also loves chasing the car and truck that came with it. The assembly was straight forward and relatively quick at about an hour that included time spent prepping the wood with sandpaper (came with it). It is sturdy and has a compact design for storage. Great for indoor and outdoor play. This is definitely worth 5 stars! ... show more

If your little is a climber this is the perfect way to introduce active play. Our son is a year and a half and is a climber. It’s pretty durable for the littles, easy to change around to give some variety in functionality. You can turn the slide into a rock climbing wall and lower it as much as needed for what is appropriate for age and safety. The slide can also be used for sliding toys. It can also function as a bridge between the ladder and curved climbing piece. The climbing piece also doubles as a rocker if you put it upside down. There are handles for the littles to hold as they rock. The flat wooden pieces make it easy for them to sit on without a foot slipping through and getting crushed. The ladder is great, has handles on top to grab into and the steps are perfect width for the feet. You can adjust the ladder to make it shorter for the appropriate age of height is a concern. The ladder isn’t super high up at its highest setting, but it is about the height of our 1 and a half year old. We bought some gymnastic mats to cushion in case of a fall (we have tile flooring so just to be safe). Since it is made of wood, it even comes with a piece of sandpaper in case you find a splinter or rough area. We didn’t have to use it at all since we didn’t find any splinters. The only downside is that you have to manually screw in the screws and It took about an hour to put together because there are about 40 screws and you have to use an Allen wrench. Left my hands pretty sore the next day since the screws were very snug which made everything super secure and durable. It is worth the work!! Overall great purchase and with baby #2 on the way it makes me even more excited that the life of this purchase is going to last for a few years to come. ... show more

I highly recommend this set! Our son love this, he's young but very active and this set gives him multiple types of play. Zeke loves both the slide and the "rock climbing" wall. He will run around the house then climb up the A frame go down the slide and do it again lol. Sometimes he just wants to climb up and down the rock wall side. I can see him build confidence everytime he engages with a piece or all of the pieces together. The quality seems great! We've had it for a few months now and so far so good! Assembly is a sinch and ztorage is very simple. The A frame collapses easily, the slide can be tucked away and the half moon section can be a little tricky but the overall size is manageable enough that if you don't have a designated spot it won't eat up the room. I bought this because my sister recommended the brand and my son uses a pikler at school. This product is such good quality and came with anything and everything to help make assembly go smoothly. The parts came well organized and it even came with a piece of sand paper just in case the wood needs to be smoothed. I have NOT had to use the sand paper, though. Assembly was a piece of cake. Uncomplicated, but took a little bit of time because of how many screws there are. BUT DONT LET THAT DETER YOU FROM BUYING THIS. My son loves it and I’m so glad I got this pikler. Couldn’t be happier. Oh and it came with 2 little wooden cars, which I thought was super cute. Didn’t notice that being part of the package in the details, but getting those bonus toys was definitely a perk. ... show more
