Dupe high tops for reception dancing for the bride! They are really cute after I added the “pretties” they look so flipping cute! Canvas is not too stiff and the rubber is not a bright bright white but that’s what I love about them so they look nicer and not so sporty. No Velcro, for is solid, price again on point! These burgundy hi-top tennies are so cute. I have another pair of hi-tops from a different seller, but these seem like better quality to me. They're thicker, making the material seem almost stiff, but it's really not. They are very comfortable and the color is amazingly bold. I only paid $17 and some change and it was a great deal. A steal, even. But I do have two things about these shoes that bother me. One is that the color bleeds, and quite significantly, too. You can see the bleed on the white laces. The other thing i wish to comment on is this: I have teeny, tiny ankles and shoes are forever feeling loose around the ankles. Well, these shoes are no exception. I personally love Converse high-top shoes, but I would be paying $60-$80 for just plain black, so I got these as an alternative for now until I can actually get some from Converse or online. They fit me just fine. I am a size 7. When putting them on, there's very little padding, but they would be okay to use just for walking through the day and as casual shoes if you are going out for a few hours a day. Appearance-wise, they look decent, but the material is average compared to the actual Converse shoes I have that are white. The arch support is poor but still durable for walking for only a few hours a day. Slip resistance is fairly decent when walking. In terms of versatility, they are only good for casual wear or a decent alternative if you're just looking for something simple. ... show more

Expected mediocrity. What I got was GREATNESS. These shoes are cuter than the pictures, same quality as Converse at less than half the price, and are slip resistant, so I can wear them to work! The size was spot-on, they are very comfortable, and my blister-prone skin has not received a single blister from these sneakers. Have had these for close to a year, and I have the absolute OPPOSITE of regrets. (Picture is when they were brand new, but they have not worn out at all since then) ... show more
