Pleasantly surprised - I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve always taken supplement pills, but this turned out to be an awesome concept, and I appreciated this sample pack with shaker bottle option as a first-time Blueshift buyer! I prefer the flavor to be more potent, so I like that I can fill the bottle a little less than directed and the shaker ball still does a great job of mixing the powders in. The pods are easy to use, just being mindful of opening them face down over the bottle to avoid losing product. The bottle keeps the water cold without sweating, is truly leak-proof, and the Kale color is pretty and easy to keep clean. The storage on the bottom of the bottle is a neat idea (even for throwing a key or loose snack in on the go), but I like that you don’t have to have it on for the bottle to stand upright. I've been using this bottle a couple weeks and absolutely love it - this water bottle is the real deal. A few things that are great features: - Twist-off cap makes it so easy to drink from and secures well in transit - Double-walled stainless keeps drinks cold for a full day. Pretty great and on par with much more expensive bottles. (I have not tried it with hot liquids) - Convenient storage container at bottom makes it easy to hold random things like car keys. Also, appreciated the chance to try some of their supplement drinks with the free samples included with the bottle. So I bought this thinking it's a double walled stainless water bottle, with some supplements thrown in to try. And it is, but there's a bit of a mystery to what the supplements actually are. I don't mean the generally what they are supposed to do, but nutritional details such as the actual ingredients. I am never going to be labeled some kind of health freak, but I do like to know what I am putting into my body. The description is very vague on this topic. Having said that, I did sample each of the different varieties and they tasted ok. Can't tell you that they did anything life changing for my body with a single use, but obviously that's not possible. The metal shaker ball did a decent but not great job of mixing. I thought maybe I just didn't do enough shaking on the first one so I really did a shako dance the next time and still when I got to the end it was pretty gritty and it took 4 or 5 rinses to get it out of the bottle. The bottle itself is nice, with a screw on lid that stays attached so you don't drop or lose it. It's definitely water tight and it has that neat clear storage cup on the bottom that can hold 3 of the supplement packs or whatever little thing you want to carry to the gym or on a hike. The black will get hot in the sun, duh. But yeah I was surprised just how hot and how quickly it happened. fortunately the double wall design kept the water inside nice and cold regardless. LOL, no big deal but just something to be aware of when you choose your color. ... show more

    • Great Blender Bottle with Convenient Storage Bottom!

The price point here I think is actually kind of low for what you get, which makes it a great value. I ordered this mainly for the bottle and was curious about the storage container piece of it- getting the samples of the pods was definitely a bonus. As far as the nutrition pods themselves, it seems you get a lot for each little pod. There is a booklet included that gives you the nutritional information for all the different pods that blueshift makes. The taste is mild and not bad at all, and there does seem to be some benefit in how I felt after the pods, particularly the energy and focus ones. That being said, having looked up the price of the pods separately from this item, I'd be unlikely to order them just because the price of the pods themselves is too high for what I can realistically spend on supplements, even if you do get an amazing amount of nutrients from each little pod. Now the bottle: LOVE IT!!! It's a great blender bottle with an airtight seal so I have no worry of things spilling over. It has enough space that after pouring 12-14 oz of water there is still room for the blender ball to actually work as you're shaking it- compared to other items of this kind that because of having to account for the room needed for shaking effectively you aren't able to end up using much liquid at all for the actual drink. The storage compartment on the bottom is also great. While I don't plan to get the pods, I am able to keep a small dipping sauce type container full of a dose of protein powder in the compartment as well as can put my other little packets of functional powders that I use in it if I want to do that instead. It of course is designed for the pods, so other things won't fit quite as precisely as the pods do, but I still find great value in having the option to carry an extra dose of protein powder or extra packets of needed things in the base of the bottle. The bottle also does work well without using the storage base at all. I think this product is definitely worth the buy. You get a great blender bottle, a way to carry extra little bits of whatever you might need, and you get to try out the nutrition pods from blueshift. While they aren't something I personally would purchase again, that's more because of my financial constraints and I can definitely see them being useful to others who are able to and who have an interest in nutritional drink supplements. So go ahead and try them out! Worst case scenario, you end up with a GREAT, well made blender bottle with some extra storage for whatever you might want to use it for. ... show more

The water bottle itself is really nice. There's a shaker ball included to help mix the powder in the cold water. There are 3 different flavors included which I thought were interesting but not all were great. It does come down to personal preference though. I do like that they have extra benefits besides just flavoring your water. I will say some of the mixes have little seeds or things that float in the water from the powder which is definitely an interesting texture. I also think you can put a small amount of snacks in the bottom of the bottle instead of just the powder blocks. ... show more
