I ordered the aqua blue and was expecting a more vibrant color- it is very muted but still pretty. Fabric is very soft, washed it once, seems ok. The double zipper and heavy metal zipper pulls are odd and unnecessary.

This duvet cover is SO soft! It fit really well over the king size down alternative comforter I bought. The only reason I gave it 4 stars in overall review is because it was very wrinkly with deep fold lines that I had to steam iron out. Other than that it's fabulous! Though TC is 1000, the white appears dull/dingy/"old". I wouldn't want this as a top cover - it's very soft, but also extremely different to pull actual Duvet inside to tie. I found myself getting more & more frustrated. Had it been attractive, or if the fabric was a bit more "weighty", "substantial:, I would have kept up with my effort. Writing a bad review always causes me to wince. Who am I putting out of work telling the truth? Bottom line, I love a good zipper and this one worked. But this piece of linen is not 1000 thread count Egyptian Cotton. I am intimately versed in linens and the fabric is just not what they say that is. A 400 thread count sateen is superior to this duvet cover. And it's a hassle ordering, waiting, fitting the piece. Then telling myself it will improve if I wash and pamper it. Doing all that. And, nope. Then it's wrapping it back up, driving it to a UPS Store. Trust me, something important is amiss here. Pass. ... show more
