This won't ignite mapp gas. The igniter doesn't work at all. Not even once. I tried holding a lighter in front of the torch - it blew a nice big flame as long as I held the lighter there, but the moment I took it away, the flame went out. How is that possible? It works great when it is up right, but if you tilt it at an angle to burn something on the ground the torch blue flame goes out and it starts spitting out orange normal flames.

This torch is great for casual use, however, you get what you pay for. It's a cheap torch that struggles with just about anything other then ideal use cases. I would not recommend this to anyone who would use this in an automotive workshop for heating up rusted bolts, as it struggles to maintain a flame at anything over perfectly straight up and down. ... show more
