Must have if you have a pool.
We have a toddler and this is a high quality alarm. It is very loud the neighbors have commented about me testing it. It is not super touchy but the alarm goes off when the water goes up 1/19 of an inch. This functionally the best way to keep your children safe the alarm goes off outside and inside so you can’t miss it. This is a huge value for the money and would recommend this to everyone I know.

Not worth it
Doesn’t work if your pool gets too low. It only worked for one and a half summers before it quit working and then it turned a weird brown color and won’t turn on.

works well, but cheaply built
The product didn't work at first because the batteries jammed in the battery case when the case was inserted and weren't making contact. The enclosure doesn't protect against humidity and isn't water-tight. Seems to work well, but I store the product indoors when I'm not using it.

Best
Best alarm ever. Just be sure it is emersed at least 2 inches in the water. Its loud as it should be. Inside and outside alarm. Easy to reset. Love it.

Works great sometimes would not trust kids life to it.
Setup was easy then tested per instructions and it worked. A little delayed on trigger but worked. Inside alarm trigger and all was good Tried it again two days later and nothing. Wife don't trust it so I am returning but if this is just a backup to other safety measures it maybe decent as if it triggers everybody in the neighborhood knows someone is in your pool. One thing to note is i only tested like 2' away. Once it failed the close test I never bother with testing at the further part of pool.

only good for constant water level
tough to use. if the water level changes due to evaporation or something, the alarm will either not work or give you a false alarm, etc. we ended up going with a different alarm system.
