Used this to clean our new gray couch that got dirty. Like vomit dirty. The vinegar didn’t do anything for the smell but this worked. Have sued this before when milk spilled in my trunk. I thought I was going to have to throw out the liner and used this as a last resort. For a few dollars for the can it exceeded expectations. I took off a star because I don’t remember any discoloration from the first time I used it in the trunk but it kind of darkened the couch. It’s gray, so there’s just a slightly darker shade where I used it. Probably not noticeable to anyone but me but it’s there. Has been dry for a few weeks so it’s not wetness causing that. Had a wine stain on our new reclining sofa. After researching ways to remove I found that I couldn't use certain cleaning methods on the type of material our sofa was covered with. This stuff was approved and really works. Well worth the cost and effort.

The spray can is easy to use. I shook it as I sprayed to create a foamy layer over the stain. I used it on an area of a chaise lounge attached to a couch that had become worn and stained for a long time. I did have to treat the area 3 times, but after it dried, I could see a visible and clean difference. I vacuumed. The stains were gone and the chaise matched the rest of the couch. This upholstery cleaner works really good and has a pleasant smell. However, I didn't give it 5 stars because although it works great, it isn't easy to use. It is really hard to get the product out. You have to spray it completely upright. You can't tilt it at all or it won't come out, which it a little inconvenient. I couldn't spray it directly where I wanted it if it was low such as my carpet. I had to keep it upright and spray a rag and then it comes out fine. I had a can before that was pretty old but I threw it away because I thought maybe because it was old is why it didn't work right. I bought a new can but it had exactly the same issue. So I was pretty bummed that I threw away about half a can away because I thought it was no good anymore. ... show more

Very little scent, easy to use, took 10 year old sweat stains out of car seats. Nothing else worked as well. Cloth seats by the way.

    • Removed blood from upholstery
Bought this to remove what looked like a blood stain from my nearly new Ethan Allen chair marked "S" for non-water based cleaning. This stuff worked like magic. It did require four or so rounds of spraying and wiping with a cloth but it looks like the stain was never there!
