For well over a year my dogs loved this food. However, over time we noticed they were eating less and less of it. Not sure if something changed or they got bougie on us and wanted something different. If they still ate it we would still be getting it. However, we moved on to another brand. My dog loves it! I mix it in with his dry food just to switch things up and he eats all his food up. None of my cans came damaged so I’m not sure why people complained about that because it has nothing to do with the quality of the food or amazon, it has everything to do the shipping company so that should not affect your rating on the FOOD. There is some fatty oils that settle in the food, but that’s to be expected since it’s MEAT. I don’t know why people complain about that. Fatty oils from meat settle in human food all the time, yet we still eat it. Just mix it up properly. I conserve the quality of the food by sealing it in a tubberware. I find that my dog enjoys it more when I take out a serving, let it get to room temperature, then mix it in with his dry food versus serving it cold, right out of the refrigerator. Label says: Chicken & Salmon Grill is 12.5 oz. x 78% WATER = 9 3/4 ounces of water per can. Thus, about 2 3/4 ounces = "food". Or, $17.45 per pound of food and calories;... is minus the water. The cost of a pound of fresh salmon !? Where does all the water come from? Are the chickens wet? Of course, the salmon do swim in water and salmon is the fourth ingredient after chicken liver.
