First off, it is weird/annoying that amazon actually runs out of this food sometimes. Like, nothing. I get the same thing at the stores around here but at least that makes sense. Only thing my cats will eat pretty much. They seem to like the flavor, not sure myself I've never tried it. Obviously like any manufactured food, it doesn't have the best ingredients but its not the worst either. I just wish these were cheaper. I have to buy cases at a time and oh boy do these get expensive real quick. Occasionally a can will be busted open during shipping and I have to throw those away, I'll probably start ordering the food from Chewie since they're usually a bit cheaper. ... show more

    • There's More Than One Way To Feed A Cat

I'm one of the millions of kitty-cat pals who spent a very long time in maximum frustration over the Hill's Science Diet wet cat food fiasco. I'm sure most of my fellow feline protectors know about the Hill's wet food drought that left multi-millions of cats hungry and their guardians in a panic, trying to find an adequate replacement that was both tasty and healthy. My little friends had been eating the vet-recommended Savory Chicken entrée that the Hill's Science Diet dieticians had developed as part of their nutritious and health-oriented menu of canned wet food. When I was informed by Amazon Prime that my monthly subscription for the Savory Chicken (along with most of the other selections Hill's usually offered) would no longer be available, I knew that major trouble was about to implode in the cat quarters of my home in direct correlation to the last can of Savory Chicken being gobbled up. After a day's research online, followed by a week and a half of trial and mostly error as my guys turned their noses up, and their backsides to, 4 or 5 alternative brands of wet cat food, I finally stumbled onto the brand that would serve as not only an adequate replacement but one that far exceeded my furry friend's previous attachment to the Hill's Science Diet variety of wet food. Here I give a giant and lengthy standing ovation to the Blue Buffalo line of pet food for both cats and dogs. My cats have gone almost literally nuts over the Blue Buffalo Tastefuls' Salmon Pate. To say they love this newest addition to their menu would be like saying the Pacific Ocean contains some water. Not only do they now crawl all over me as a wake-up call for breakfast, but they also now show up at my computer station or my place on the couch where I read or watch TV, sometimes two or three hours before their scheduled second feeding of the day. Where once they were sort of lackluster over their second feeding, I'm now tormented, prodded, "meow-chorused," and hopped on until I give in and feed them. They show every bit as much enthusiasm regarding their second feeding as they did their first. Blue Buffalo saved the day for me and my little ones, coming to the rescue when the Hill's Science Diet well had run dry. And I doubt very much if I will ever get my guys to go back to their previous dietary regimen. Sorry, Science Diet. Your fumbling in the wet food competition has caused two of your players to switch teams. Go Blue Buffalo! ... show more

Cans were shared open, and juice of open cans all over the entire package.. I can not get a refund apparently.. Disappointed in now having a case of smelly rotton cans and for those of us on budget, 30 plus bucks is a lot to throw away.

In my order 1/1/24 my cats ate the top 12cans in the pack of Salmon Entree in Gravy just fine. But would NOT eat any from the second 12can pack! Just got off the phone with an Amazon Rep. who was of no help what so ever!
