My cats really like Blue Buffalo. I usually buy this along with three other flavors of the same amount. It's not inexpensive but my cats have never turned their noses up at any of the flavors and they do not throw up very often either. I feed them on a raised feeder which might be part of the reason for not throwing up, but I think the food factors in as well.

Helped my cat’s previous vomiting and diarrhea from other cat foods.

I switched my cat to Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Chicken Pate wet food and have had no issues with vomiting or diarrhea since. She was on Hill’s prescription Biome for digestive stress and she didn’t much care for it, plus still had some diarrhea/ vomiting issues. At the same time, I put her on Blue Buffalo dry food Urinary Care, and that has solved her chronic diarrhea and vomiting for two months now. ( She was on Hill’s prescription c/d multi-care for the same issues). I cannot tell you how relieved our household is now that Bootsy is feeling better. Personally, I suspect seafood was giving her problems, and not sticking to a single source protein diet. There is fish oil in this product, but not enough to cause the severe vomiting and diarrhea she has experienced from other seafood based products. We have spent so much time and money at the veterinarian’s trying to figure it out. Single source protein, and avoiding seafood has helped tremendously.

Be careful blaming your cat's diet for their health problems.

My Siamese picky girl likes this food. This and one other are the only foods she has ever been served. I've read a few of the not-so-good reviews and I was surprised. If you let your cat out into the great outdoors and they have skin and health issues, you have to be really careful before blaming their problems on their food. There is so much poison outdoors - people spray poison on their vegetation and some really nasty people poison cat food and put it out because they dislike cats! It's a very cruel world for kitties nowadays. I've always kept my cats indoors for those reasons, because cats fight one another and because of all the sick people who enjoy torturing animals. My little girl has had no skin or health problems eating Blue buffalo wet cat food. Of course she has her favorites, like chicken, tuna, salmon, and turkey. But again, she is strictly an indoor cat, with access to our screened-in porch only- as seen in photo!

YAAAYYY!! THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA!!!

I’ve been feeding my kitties blue buffalo pate for a while and they all barely tolerated it! Actually they ALL HATED IT! I would put it in a magic bullet and add a little water and blend it to make it creamier. ~ One of the girls is 17 and has to do lickables, so the thick hockey puck in the can wasn’t even close to being edible for her. Fortunately I got a new shipment and this time the lid is BLUE. I didn’t pay much attention until I opened it and WOW it’s actually edible without the blender! I tried giving the girls the old formula and nobody will eat it, even doctored up! They must’ve changed not only the texture but also the flavor, and Thank God they did because my 17 yr old kitty is now excited about eating and comes to me when she’s hungry! Something that wasn’t happening with the old formula. She is now gaining a little weight and looking so much better! Thank you Blue Buffalo for fixing this food! I will be taking the case of the old formula to the shelter.

Nothing but bad….

For a long time, I trusted Blue Buffalo. However, the high cost usually deterred me, from buying their food. Recently though, with the severe winter weather and shipping delays, I had been forced to buy products, that could be delivered the same day and this brand, landed in that category. What I can say, for certain, is this: Since the November storm, in the PNW, this is the brand of wet food, that I have been feeding my cats. On December 28th, I had to put one of my cats, to sleep. The realist, in me, says: Max was 17 years and had age related issues. Approximately thirty days later, my second cat, dies. With no rhyme or reason, whatsoever. My sister and I, disagree on the causes, for their deaths and I’m still trying to think realistically and fairly. But. We have a third cat and she’s been experiencing problems also. Allergy type symptoms; scratchy eyes, sneezing and runny nose. After my second cat passed away, last weekend, we tossed out the remaining cans of wet food and immediately changed the Monsters diet. Her symptoms are finally going away and hopefully she will continue to improve… generally speaking, no matter what food you give to your animals, pay attention to and be proactive, when they are ill…. The first picture, was taken, last weekend and the second photo, is today and it’s hard to tell, because she’s asleep. But the wounds, near her eye, has gotten better and she has stopped itching.
