I open the can. I dump the can in their bowls. They eat the food. They continue living life, ignoring me and pretending like I don't exist. Indifferent to my needs, they don't care that I lovingly researched cans of wet meats for an hours, whilst on the clock at my cog job. But enough about me, how about those people in these comments who closely analyze the look, smell, texture and consistency of their canned cat food? If I ever get to a point in life where I am threatening to call the FDA about the white stuff that forms on the top of the canned meat blob, well, just take me out behind the woodshed, friends.

My cat is 15 years old and was getting skinny. She has never eaten canned or people food. ONly hard food. I wanted to fatten her up so I bought some cheap canned food and when I gave it to her, she looked at me and turned up her nose. I tried several brands - she wouldn't have anything to do with it so I purchased this brand. I was so amazed - she gobbled it up and cries every morning now for her wet food breakfast. Then I ran out of this wet food and tried one of the cheap brands again..... oh no, she wouldn't have that..... My newshipment came today and as soon as she saw the can before I even opened it, she was ready to eat!!!! I am so pleased with Buffalo Blue - dry & wet and my kitty is gaining weight. I'm hoping that now she is eating this healthy food that she will live until at least 20 years old or older!!!

I ordered a 24 box of the flaked chicken......the first 24 can box was fine. We went through the entire box with no problems. So, because I save plus 3.00 I ordered a second box of the same...flaked chicken...….on the second can my Nadia became ill with diarrhea......she went to the litter box 7 times before the diarrhea subsided. I took her off the flaked chicken completely thinking it may have been just a tummy flu or something. On the third day I started her back on the flaked chicken ...again...immediately the next morning she had the terrible poops and diarrhea.....so I took her off and put her on another canned food and she has been fine since. I opened another can today and smelled it and it smelled like oil.....did not look as good as the first 24 cans I had ordered before. All cans there were perfect and the second box is bad. I am not going to send it back....right now I am tired, as I thought we were going to do good with this cat food from the first 23 or 24 cans whatever. I am also disappointed that Amazon does not have their chat function with real people right now...….now it is some AI thing that ends up saying they will connect you with a person and the persons never come online to talk. What is going on. I don't really like talking on the telephone.

I have been feeding my cats this same exact product bought from Walmart for the last six months and they love it. I have never had an issue with it until I purchased it on Amazon. The price was irresistible, have the price I usually pay, I should have realized it was too good to be true. It says it's supposed to be flakes in gravy, instead I got a disgusting looking mushy paste with a strange hole in the middle and a strange cloudy gooey substance on top. I wouldn't feed this to my worst enemy. I opened 2 cans from each of the 5 cases I bought and everyone looked the same. I only can hope that their customer service and return policy are as good as there false advertising. What ever you do don't buy this product if you have even the slightest concern for you cats. This product has left a very bad "taste" in my mouth about ordering anything from Amazon, the should not allow this product to be sold on their site. My deepest regrets, Dennis

I bought this variety pack 4 times within the last 3 weeks. I've been trying it out for the last few weeks after a trip to the vet. I had become quite concerned about one of my cats looking emaciated. When I took him to the vet I found out he had very high T4's (hyperthyoidism). Anyway, this cat food doesn't really have to do with that. But, the reason I started it was because I wanted him to gain weight as quickly as possible. Therefore, when I got home from the vet I bought several different cat foods to see what he liked the best. He really seems to love this Blue Buffalo the best. 3 weeks ago my cat weighed 6.4 lbs. and in only 3 weeks, he's now up to 7.3 lbs. His T4's are also now down to a normal level. I can't give Blue Buffalo credit for that as it's mainly the medicine my Dr. prescribed for my cat and his taking it 2x a day. However, I would say Blue Buffalo has played a part in helping him recover. It's a good quality cat food and is highly palatable. My cats fur is also looking especially nice and his eyes look somehow clearer. Here's hoping he'll continue gaining weight and feeling better. I think we'll stcik with the Blue Buffalo but maybe also try some other versions. I've been getting him Blue Buffalo Healthy Gourmet variety pack but I also just got a case of the Blue Buffalo Wilderness as well. I have 3 other cats and they've also been going along with this and seem to also like this cat food. So overall from my experiences, I'd say this food is very palatable and seems to be healthy and agree well with my cats.

I had previously been feeding my cat wellness core flaked entrees in broth but I felt that the recipe changed and found sharp bones in the food so I was looking for other options. I bought this because it said flaked tuna which was similar to what she had been eating from wellness core. Definitely not flaked it’s more like a pate, which my cat hates, but it’s “flaked” enough that she would eat it. she ate this for like less than a month and then started vomiting it after she would eat it and now she won’t even go near it if I put it in her bowl. I always leave a plate out of dry food if she wants to snack but her main meals are wet and she would rather munch on her dry food than this stuff! I think she knows it’s making her sick and she refuses to eat it. No longer feeding her this stuff. Back to wellness core....
