A big daily planner/calendar. 8 ½ X 11 means that it is probably not very portable. Essentially a desk calendar. I wanted something like this, however, a planner that can rest on my kitchen counter, ready for noting dates and appointments. Sections are marked with tabs indicating individual months, so it is easy to find what you need. For each month there are two pages arranged in small squares, followed by several pages in which each day is set out in larger format with plenty of space for notes. These basics are really all I need. But this substantial book is filled with an assortment of other options that some may find gratuitous—“My Joy List,” “Random Acts of Kindness,” “A year of growth,” etc. Several black, lined pages at the front that might be useful for note taking.
