I've put together many Blokees Galaxy Series Transformers and never had any problems. I've always been impressed with the sturdiness of the figures and the level of detail. When I saw these Champion class Avengers kits, I purchased one, thinking I would have the same kind of experience I had with the Blokees Galaxy Transformers. Boy, was I wrong. The first one of these I bought was easy to build, but I discovered it was missing the critical front barbell piece for construction of the waist. I had to take it back and told the cashier it was broken so that it would not go back in stock for someone else to have to deal with. I then purchased another Blokees Thor. Building this one was harder than building the first one. The arms on the first one were no problem, but the elbow piece on the second one would not stay in place. When I moved the arm to a straight pose, the arm gauntlet would slip under the elbow piece and pop it off. Then when I popped the elbow piece back in, the lower arm would pop off. This happened over and over again. The chest armor circles would not go in, no matter how I tried. I then tried switching them-putting the left one in the right slot--and they finally fit in place. However, the fit was super tight and there was no way they were coming back off to switch them out for the lightning effect pieces. Thankfully, the front barbell piece for the torso construction was actually in this one and I put all the pieces together following the directions. The pieces did not go together snugly, so I pressed them together as tight as I could and...one of the barbell tops broke off (see pic). Now there is no way I can complete this build. So, the second Blokees Thor is going to have to be returned. I will not be buying a THIRD Blokees Thor. Needless to say, my experience with the Champion class was not a good one. Blokees needs to change how they plan these figures. High-stress areas, like the torso barbells, should come pre-assembled or pre-molded from the factory. The tolerance zone for these types of pieces are just too exact to rely on poorly illustrated instructions. Also, the type of plastic used for these models needs to change, as the high-stress area parts are obviously too brittle to carry the stress of assembly, to say nothing of the stress of posing and bending the completed model. ... show more
