Kyrios no grade 1/100 scale model
Bandai's Gundam 00 models are great, high quality, detailed, and fun kits. This is a transforming mobile suit, nicely detailed and sturdy (it can stand in most poses with-out assistance). Now I prefer master grade kits but these new no-grades,and high grade kits in 1/100 or 1/144 scale are great in detail and time it takes to assemble. My 3 year old daughter loves to watch me put one together, she names parts and most of the time she can tell where they go not having seen the anime from which they came. Young kids and adults can enjoy any gundam model, the experience of construction, and painting if one wants to (though is not necessary, detailing with gundam markers, and taymia paints sure so make them look nice)is truly awesome, cause once your done you have an action figure. Back to the kit, Kyrios is spot on for show accuracy, both in mobile armor (plane)mode and as a mobile suit. Excellent range of motion in the joints. I do recommend getting a gundam action base if you want to display it transformed since it has no landing gear. This is a great kit for modelers of any age and experience and if you have never done gundam (gunpla) models before I would recommend this kit along with Exia. This kit should take about 4-7 hours to assemble. It took me 2 but I have been doing this since 1999. Buy this kit and enjoy.Gundam 00: 03 GN-003 Gundam Kyrios 1/100 Scale Model Kit

Super fun for a first Gunpla
Hot off of watching MS Gundam 00 and a trip to Japan I was regretting not grabbing some Gunpla. I found the Kyrios Gunpla here on Amazon and I put it together in one day. All of the parts are engineered well with tight tolerances. Even though I can not read Japanese the digrams were very well done and accurate. I googled the pictograms used in the instructions which was a helpful and crucial step. I only did some pencil parts lining and no paint but I had a blast. Seems like it would be VERY difficult to emulate the fine lines shown in the official photos. Highly recommend this for a beginner (adult) like myself. Update: I did attempt to use a very fine tip marker (.03mm) and some hand painting to give this model a better look. The hand painting wasn't great but not bad for a first try. Since I don't have access to Gunpla top coat products I used a clear matte spray to even everything it and protect the model. The spray is not nearly as fine as what you could achieve with a high quality JP product but overall I am happier with the model after the top coat. The second and third photos show these updates.

Favorite Gundam, awesome kit!!
As my favorite mecha in the Gundam 00 anime series, this Kyrios model did not disappoint. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the model itself snaps together without glue or much hassle (especially for a newbie like me). It also comes with a full array of accessories: the GN rifle, arm shield with GN sword, beam sabers with beams, and two snap-on mounting posts (one for mech mode, one for flight). The model itself is highly detailed and accurate, which is definitely worth highlighting with a touch of paint (or Sharpie, in my case). Transforming it from mech mode to flight mode isn't difficult once you get the hang of it. The model does have its downsides though. It can't do a wide variety of battle poses in mech mode, mostly because the black-grey forward fuselage for flight mode has to be flipped over the back of the figure and sticks so far out that the center of gravity is thrown off - but that's more a fault of the mech's original design than the model. Furthermore, the feet don't have the greatest range of motion (because they have to transform) so stabilizing the mech is a very tricky and somewhat delicate matter. The model also isn't the sturdiest thing in the universe (minor accessory pieces do fall off if you fiddle with it a lot), but it's still an excellent kit. Overall, I am not disappointed in this kit. My favorite Gundam is easily my favorite model. Because of the balance issues, I do highly recommend a stand to display it: Gundam Action Display Base Stand (Black). Plus, it looks awesome mounted in flight mode and taking off from your shelf. (And awfully tempting to pick it up and fly it around the room.) A definite must-have for any Celestial Being armada!

so many ways to pose
wow... this was the first 1/100 model, i didnt realize the size diference compared to the 1/144 models. anyway added to the awsome size the 1/100 kyrios model has many other qualities, such as the fact that this model comes with beam sabers... blades and all. very detailed, will only need paint if you feel compelled to do that sort of thing. the jet mode is sort of cluncky... but looks awsome. comes with 2 beam saber hilts and blades, sheild with extending blade, and a sub machine gun with a arm clip. also mounting posts for both forms. the cockpit peice is kind of awkward and throws the balance off, so a action base is almost needed. overall a amazing model and a must hace for any 00 fan.

A truly satisfying purchase
Gundam Kyrios is simply and amazing model. The gundam can easily change form it gundam robot mode into its jet mode. The transformation is very easy and it dramatically extends the length of the whole model. Pose-ability is great because the shoulders, legs, and arms all have to twist and bend to achieve the flight form, which translates into a greater range of motion compared to gundams which do not change at all. Coloring is spot on, and the head of the gundam is fairly large compared to other 1/100. IMHO the helmet design(shape of yellow v, yellow top fin, face mask, and circular ears)looks better than all the other Gundam 00 mechs, even the 00 Raiser 1/100 which poses next to him). I highly recommend getting the stand for any pose imaginable. This model took me about 2 hours to cut and create, so its construction is well planned.

Great Fun
For the price, you can't beat it. The Kyrios Gundam model kit is quite nice once completed. It has a lot of movable parts and can transform just like in the animated series. This model is fun to build, and once completed feels solid enough that it should not fall apart on you if you knock it over. The joints feel solid as well, allowing it to hold a pose. Overall a good buy if you are a fan of the Gundam 00 machines. You can't go wrong with this model.

Great Kit but not for beginning painters
This is easily the best sub-Master Grade kit that I've ever had the pleasure of building. It is very well engineered and nearly all of the seems between parts are hidden and very accurate to its anime counterpart. The kit looks fantastic when it has been painted but because of design of several of the parts, it requires quite a bit of skill to get the paint job right.

Very Nice!
Kyrios 1/100 is very nice; it brings all the necessary parts for it to be in the same shape as his on-screen counterpart, however one needs to give it some extra tlc to make it truly anime accurate, some gray/dark gray, clear green, and maybe even a metallic paint goes a long way to help fill in the already molded detail. He presents some solid panel lining opportunities as well.
