These shorts are honestly perfect for the gym. They're not skin tight. I can pull them up to fit around my waist and my butt doesn't hang out the bottom. My butt is even covered while doing squats. They're not super flattering since they do fit a little loose around my legs, but I don't want to wear tight fitting shorts in the gym. The pockets are really nice too. They're deeper than the pockets of my jeans!

The materials feel great and I love that they didn't use that cheap legging fabric for the fitted shorts underneath the main layer, but the layer that should be fitted isn't fitted or tight at all. The inner layer is just as loose as the outside layer making these unusable for anything other than walking or lounging around the house. I bought these in hopes that the spandex layer would be fitted and stay in place, but that layer is the same size as the outer layer. It makes absolutely no sense. The inner layer should be fitted and the outer layer should be relaxed and looser. Five minutes into my bike ride the spandex was in the same place as my underwear and my entire leg was showing. I kept having to stop to pull the inner layer down, but they went right back up. The outer layer and waist are a perfect fit, but I need shorts that will stay put. So disappointed that the inner layer is like this.

Do not hesitate to order these shorts! Whether you are short, tall, large or small these shorts will suit EVERYONE! The stretch on these probably gives you a 3 or 4 size variance to gain and lose weight as you wish. I will officially declare them "BUFFET SHORTS" because you could binge for hours at an all you can eat buffet and they will expand to accommodate your gluttony, without looking frumpy! My backside is the size of Texas and these shorts don't ride up or down. They follow the curve of this giant caboose and then hang perfectly onto my legs. The liner enables you to keep the "kitty in the cage" no matter what activity you are wearing them for! THE BEST SHORTS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ordering one of every color!!

I've never cared for underneath bike shorts. From other reviews I decided to give these a try. I love them. I was impressed that the underneath short was not tight at all and did not squeeze me to death. The pockets are absolutely amazing. Waistband is generous in the fact it's not a rinky dink cheap drawstring type and just feels good. Also they are the perfect length I would say definitely true to size . Ordered a second pair. And will order more.
