Definitely disappointed about the sheet set. Well first you have to wash the sheet before use and so i did and afterword the sheet felt like an incredibly wrinkled paper bag. My daughter touched the sheet to feel them and made an amazing self explanatory comment" they feel like they are prickly!" I returned them!

The reason I needed percale (the 400 thread count helps) is because my husband's feet wear out any softer (which turn out to be thinner) sheets VERY quickly. The older sheets I had lasted several years, but fit very tightly on our rather thick mattress. These sheets have room to spare, both the fitted and the flat. LOVE them.

It’s hard to describe these sheets. The fabric reminded me of taffeta, very crisp and stiff when wet but remained stiff after drying. I expect wrinkles in 100% cotton but when you pull sheets immediately out of the dryer and don’t allow them to sit, most wrinkles come out. These sheets were wrinkled and very stiff right out of the dryer. Definitely going back!
