The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle is built off the design of the iconic BlenderBottle Classic, with an upgraded look, and feature updates—including a rounded base and SpoutGuard—that make it easy to maintain proper nutrition on-the-go. The Powerful mixing system—with a 316 surgical- grade stainless steel BlenderBall wire whisk that moves inside the bottle to smooth out mixes—makes it ideal for protein shakes, smoothies, fiber drinks, and meal replacements. A wide mouth makes it easy to add ingredients, and the rounded base ensures thorough mixing and easy cleanup. Gym water bottle contents and liquids are securely contained by a tightly threaded screw-on lid that creates a leakproof seal, and an ergonomic flip cap that snaps securely shut for shaking and transportation (fits in most cupholders). A SpoutGuard makes it possible to open the flip top without touching the drinking spout, to keep the mouthpiece clean. Embossed markings show both ounces and milliliters for easy measuring. The BlenderBottle Classic V2 protein bottle can also be used as a water bottle. Perfect shaker. I was mixing my protein powder shakes with a spoon in a glass. Still had clumps and sludge float to the top. This shaker solves this. I add the protein powder, then add milk, and shake... After a few shakes everything is mixed with no clumps or top sludge. I pour it into a glass to drink. Plastic is BPF free, but I prefer glass. Top is wide enough to fit the protein scoop, so no spills. So far no leaks. I use at home. I have a stainless steel cup for the gym. The measurements on the side is helpful, but I just eyeball it. Get the 28 oz size. I think the 20 oz will be too small. The 28 oz provides more space for shaking. Nice quality, round stainless steel ball mixes well. Easy to clean. There are so many options when it comes to shaker bottles that I was honestly a bit in the dark choosing one. I was looking for something quick and easy for the healthy drinks I make regularly—because stirring by hand just doesn’t cut it. In particular, I use powders (like moringa) in kefir, and without proper mixing it tends to streak through and leave a bitter, uneven taste. Overall, I was sold the first time I used this—it completely solved that problem. Instead of a gloopy, uneven mess, I got a smooth, evenly blended drink, which made a big difference in both texture and taste. Based on this experience, I imagine it would work just as well for protein powders or pre-workout mixes. The bottle itself feels sturdy and well-made, and importantly, I haven’t had any issues with leaking or drips. Pros: Blends powders evenly (no clumping or streaking) Quick and easy to use Sturdy, well-constructed design Leak-resistant (no drips so far) Great for a variety of drinks (protein, greens, etc.) Cons: Basic design (no insulation or extras) Requires shaking (not electric, if that’s a preference) Best for: Great for anyone looking for a reliable, no-fuss shaker bottle for protein drinks, greens powders, or other mix-ins.     • Worth the Buy Despite a Few Flaws

Pros: The bottle is nice overall and the metal ball helps mix decently well. The bottle is big enough to hold plenty of milk, without feeling too big. Additionally the plastic loop on top makes for easy carrying and transport. One last thing I like is the liquid inside never tastes like plastic. Sometimes I feel plastic bottles emit a plastic flavor, but I don’t notice that issue with this one. Cons: I have two issues with this bottle. Number one is there is relatively low temperature retention. If I add cold milk, I typically have 30 minutes before it begins to get warm. My second issue is the lid. While the flip cap DOES seal and is relatively leak free, it is extremely hard to get the flip cap to click shut. I have to use a significant amount of pressure to get the lid to snap on. While it’s not a major issue for me, I can see where it could be an issue for someone with less strength or arthritis. I would buy this cup again, but I do recognize it isn’t a perfect product! ... show more

Honest Take We love these! I have a family of 5 and we use these everyday. We've tried other shaker bottles over the years, and most of them ended up smelling . I bought the BlenderBottle Classic V2 last spring after my previous ones developed a leak around the lid, and I figured I'd give the "name brand" a shot. Here are my honest thoughts after using it pretty much every single day. What our family likes: The wire whisk ball (the BlenderBall) genuinely works great. It actually breaks up protein powder clumps way more effectively than the plastic mesh inserts I've used before. No more chunks of unmixed powder hiding at the bottom waiting for your last sip. The 28oz size is the sweet spot for us. We can fit a full scoop of protein with plenty of water and ice and still have room to shake without it exploding everywhere. I tried the smaller 20oz and always felt cramped. The flip cap clicks shut firmly and I haven't had any leaks in my gym bag, which was my main gripe with the off-brand bottles I used to buy. Also, the bottle itself is dishwasher safe, if left unwashed with protein powder in it, the plastic can retain a slight smell from certain pre-workout flavors. I recently read that a baking soda soak fixes it, so I plan to try that. Bottom line: For around fifteen bucks, this thing is worth every penny. It's just a well-made shaker bottle that does what it's supposed to do without falling apart. If you're tired of cycling through cheap bottles every few months, just spend the extra few dollars and get this one. Knocking off one star only because the lid threads need more maintenance than I'd like. Would Definitely buy again. Probably will when my kids leave them at college this fall ... show more
