Description

The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle is built off the design of the iconic BlenderBottle Classic, with an upgraded look, and feature updates—including a rounded base and SpoutGuard—that make it easy to maintain proper nutrition on-the-go. The patented mixing system—with a 316 surgical- grade stainless steel BlenderBall wire whisk that moves inside the bottle to smooth out mixes—makes it ideal for protein shakes, smoothies, fiber drinks, and meal replacements. A wide mouth makes it easy to add ingredients, and the rounded base ensures thorough mixing and easy cleanup. Bottle contents and liquids are securely contained by a tightly threaded screw-on lid that creates a leakproof seal, and an ergonomic flip cap that snaps securely shut for shaking and transportation (fits in most cupholders). A SpoutGuard makes it possible to open the flip top without touching the drinking spout, to keep the mouthpiece clean. Embossed markings show both ounces and milliliters for easy measuring. The BlenderBottle Classic V2 Shaker Bottle can also be used as a water bottle. Available in three sizes: 20-Ounce (measurements go to 14 ounces), 28-Ounce (measurements go to 22 ounces), and 45-Ounce (measurements go to 34 ounces). BPA- and phthalate-free. So I was attracted to these bottles mainly because they're fairly inexpensive and there's a good mix of vibrant colors to pick from. I picked the green one, as that's my favorite atm and also because I feel green isn't as common a color for water bottles to begin with, and I wanted something that was obviously mine (as my previous shaker bottle was stolen). And so far this shaker has held up well in that regard! I've gotten several compliments on it, as green is eye catching in the sea of boring black/grey/navy shakers! Also the cup itself is good quality too. The ball is just a simple wire one, but it hasn't fallen apart or rusted, which I great. I have had some issues with the drinking hole cover, (I don’t use it to drink from, I perfer unscrewing the whole lid on/off instead) sometimes it's too hard for me to snap it on/off when washing it - which is good for people who worry about any leaking issues, I guess. It performs its function well, I use it to blend protein power into (about) 8 oz of milk and it blends reasonably nicely. I get a few lumps but I presume no shaker is perfect. My only complaint is that the capacity markings are very hard to read (at least on the clear one I have) and curiously there's a mark for 6oz and one for 10oz, but not for 8oz, which is what I like to fill to. So hard to read in fact I have to hold it under the light then use my finger to spot about halfway between 6 and 10 to know where to fill to. I was also about to complain about the spout not closing effectively, but I just realize it was because I was not pushing hard enough to make it "click". You have to give it a good bit of pressure. Minor complaint is when you put it upside down in the dishwasher, the base collects water, there's no drain hole, so if you're not paying attention while emptying the dishwasher you can splash water everywhere. ... show more

I have a Blender Bottle that's a few years old and wanted a backup. This was the closest I could find to the size and design of the one I have, which I like a lot. The bottom of this new design is good, maybe even better. But the snap-top doesn't click in place as firmly as my older one. I've had a couple of times while working out that I have either spilled a little, or had to do a hard double-check to make sure it's closed properly. Color: Ocean Blue + Straw Size: 28-Ounce
I almost returned this thinking it was broke and wouldn't close. I was slamming the lid to close it until I realized the trick. Just apply pressure to the bottom of the circle on the lid. It will snap closed. It's leak proof so of course it isn't super easy to open and close.

No frills or extra features. It’s easy to clean, great to travel with and does what it needs to. Been using mine to and from the gym and it works great. Haven’t had any incidents with not securing the lid or the lip. And you can hear an audible click when the lip is properly closed. If mine ever breaks, I’m buying it again. Love this blender bottle. Does what it supposed to do. It’s not hard to use and it’s quieter than using a blender , especially if you have a roommate and need to get a drink together early I. The morning like I do . I would recommend this product. :)

The bottom is rounded and easier to clean, but my big hands can't fit into this as easily as the previous version, and the ridges that help you grip is make cleaning the inside a bit more difficult. The lid is great and very tight so more more leaks.

I bring this to work almost daily with liquid inside and just add protein powder at lunch. It is leak proof-thank goodness! I just toss it on my work bag in the morning and go. It’s not very tall so it takes up minimal space.
