Currently this particular paint by number kit is selling for $9.99. I have paid much more for kits that are not nearly as good as this one. There is no framed option, however hooks for hanging are included in the package. This is a 24 color set. Pros: The lines are are clear easy to cover, however some numbers may require an extra few coats of paint depending on the color; this canvas has larger segments than some others that I have gotten of this type which should put it at the intermediate level; the paint is creamy and very pigmented; it comes with a black and white reference copy for determining numbers if you get lost while painting; and it comes with a small color photo. Cons: the color photo could be a bit bigger; the brushes could be a bit better, however there are 3 brushes and you can get the job done using them; the canvas is folded so will need to be ironed). I would have preferred it if this had been rolled instead of folded, but at this price point I think you have to give up a couple of perks. Overall, it's a fun project and you will have a nice picture at the end of the process. I will post photos when it is completed.

I love these paint by number kits because they give me something to do while watching a movie or listening to an audiobook. This is another great one that comes with everything you need to get started on your next masterpiece. The canvas does come folded up so you'll have some creases, but they should flatten out as you work with it. Plus, for the price, I'm certainly not complaining!

Bleihum Paint by Number Kit being reviewed: floral painting of roses I truly enjoy paint by number kits. I find them relaxing and calming. They can certainly take my mind off any troubles of the day as I concentrate on what I'm doing. I chose this kit for the subject matter, as I do with any kit I get, so it's starting out with high hopes for the finished product. The listing page for this kit showed a canvas that was lightly tinted with the colors that will be used. It was NOT tinted, and for that I am grateful. I'd much rather see the painting come alive as I progress than to have it all colored in faintly prior to painting. So that's a plus! The canvas did come folded up into a small rectangle, so it comes with folds and creases in it. These will have to be smoothed out prior to painting, otherwise the finished product is going to suffer for it. Folding earns it a MINUS! Although I did recently read that being cotton or linen the canvas can be ironed, so maybe I'll try that. The paints are all together in vacuum sealed plastic to extend their shelf life, so I can pretty much count on them to be fresh. There are 3 paintbrushes, a flat brush for larger areas, and 2 small pointed round brushed, one smaller than the other. These are for all the fine details and tiny areas to fill in. Before using, it's always a good idea to check the brushes for any loose or fly away bristles and cut those bristles away so they can't put paint where you don't want it. Also, just a tip, sometimes the end of a toothpick does just fine for getting paint into a very very tiny space. Along with the brushes are 2 brass triangles that can eventually be attached to the back of the framed painting for hanging. Some kits I've see also have a 3-pronged wall hook as well. I wish this one did, too. Finally, there is a paper reference to the painting, so if you can't read a number on the canvas, or have covered it up with the wrong color, you can look at the paper reference for guidance. For this 15 3/4 x 19 1/2- inch painting, the paper reference measures 10 1/2 x 12-inches, so is actually a little more difficult to read - a small magnifying glass may come in handy. If a paper reference to the painting is going to be included, I think it should be as close to the paintings actual size as possible. Another MINUS. The last thing included in the kit is a small, wallet size photo of that the finished painting will look like. Then one sore point I have with most Paint by Number kits, is the lack of a frame or back panel. My preference is to have the canvas stretched on the frame or attached to a back panel before I start painting. Then, when I'm all done, I just need to let the paint dry and hang it up. It also enables me to paint wherever I want. I can take it to whichever room I want, or outside on a nice day. It is also easier to place it on an easel to get the best angle for me to paint at. In any case, it will eventually need to be stretched over a frame or back panel, and I'd rather have it included in a slightly higher priced kit than have to go out and make a separate purchase. That's the main reason I am only giving this kit 4 stars.

This my second paint by number project with the first one not going well. I had more luck with this one! The kit includes all the tools you will need to complete the work and mount it. The canvas arrived folded up multiple times and despite ironing it, I could not get all the lines out. The canvas is all one color, and the numbers are easy to read. I am nowhere near completing this, but so far, I have truly enjoyed it and do recommend it.

This is a beautiful way to meditate. I have found that painting makes me relax so I thought I would give this a try. It is super fun to do! Challenging but that doesnt take the fun away. The set is just basically the printed canvas with the guidelines, the brushes, the referential image and the paints. Very simple, but it does the job. The only thing I would complaint about is the packaging. It arrives in just a clear plastic bag, I wish it would have a bit more to it so I could give it as a gift. Other than that, a good deal for the price.

This is a pretty good PBN kit. I love the image. It makes me feel like I'm looking out a window. It is extremely detailed, so I would not recommend this for kids or beginners - unless they have a lot of patience. I do recommend getting your own set of detail brushes as the ones that come with the kit aren't that great for tiny areas. The only thing I don't like about this kit is the packaging - the canvas is folded up & the kit comes packaged just in a plastic sleeve. So, I don't like the folds or that it's not in giftable/sturdy packaging.
