I bought 3 Blavor powerbanks to try them out for backpacking. I got the 10,000 and 20,000 solar, and the 16,000 5-panel folding. THis one, the 20,000 is a good choice, but not always the best choice. First, it's rugged, great for hiking. THe solar puts out 300mA, will will take 67 hours for a full charge, and put on 1.5% per hour. It could put 60% into my Galaxy phone in 8 hours in full sun. Slow, but acceptable in an emergency, but not sustainable for an extended trip. What's great about it: power delivery. There was an older version of this powerbank which only output 5 volts 2 amps, but this new one supports 18 Watt Power Delivery. It can quick-charge my phone, and quick-charge itself. It has Qi wireless, which is critical for backcountry safety, because charging with a cable can fail with dirty or broken connectors. I measured the capacity at 64.6 Watt-hours, which is 17,460mAh at 3.7V delivered. Not too bad! It's heavy at 510 grams. Not the best for hiking, as 20,000 mAh is quite large, and more than you need for a day-trip. The 10,000 powerbank would be better for hiking, but that one doesn't have power delivery, just 5 volts. Then there's the 5-panel folding 16,000mAh, which is better for backpacking, because it can actually recharge the powerbank, but that's also 5-volt only. Too bad! So this powerbank misses the mark, because it's too big and heavy for day-trips, too weak on solar for extended trips. ... show more

  • Exceptional value and performance for a multifunction wireless Blavor 20000mAh powerbank.
Color: Orange
The Blavor Qi enabled power bank, is a power bank and so much more. The Blavor is advertised as an 18W, QC 3.0 Portable wireless charger @10W, 7.5W, 5W with 4 outputs and dual outputs, 20000mAh IPX5 waterproof with flashlight and compass. This is a mouthful but what does it all mean. The charger is larger than my 10000mAh as is shown in the attached pictures. The charger is hefty compared to the smaller version. However, this comes with distinct advantages. When I chose this powerbank, speed and power were my primary considerations. This 20000mAh more than meets the bill. There is a unexpected benefit to having such a large powerbank and the advantage is the solar panel performance. All pictures were taken under flourescent lighting with the fixtures approximately 7 feet awat from the unit. Careful inspection reveals that the powerbank was charging under the lighting, at that distance, while the smaller had to be much closer. This was an unexpected and considerable benefit. The battery bank performed well beyond the expectations of the specs. I hae been able to keep two cell phones and one set of headphones throughout the whole day. I have never exhausted my bank yet The waterproofing works immaculately in my water dunk test. Zero water intrusion occurred in twelve inches of water for 30 minutes. The covers must be securely closed. When done properly, they work flawlessly. The flashlight works easily and is a powerful long lasting light. It is surprisingly powerful. It would have been nice to have the other lights heads. It is an acceptable sacrifice for the extra ports. The compass is a standard functioning compass. It works but is very basic. My overall rating for this powerbank is 5.0. I have used this powerbank for i month. Every function of this powerbank exceeds my expectations except the compass which works normally as far as compasses go (I used a compass for many years in the USMC for land navigation). It has been noted the increased weight of the powerbank. For the level of protection and waterproofing with a doubled capacity of the 10000mAh Blavor, this weight is expected and certainly acceptable for the benefits of lighting and power that the bank provides. I highly recommend this gem of a powerbank. ... show more

  • 20,000 mAh of Power
Color: Orange
Couple of things to know about this charging pack is that it's very, very handy. 20k mAh was enough to keep my device fully charged on a camping weekend with plenty leftover (I use a Galaxy S8+). My favorite thing about it is the wireless Qi charging. I can put my device on it and as long as it's "mostly centered" over the middle ring it'll start charging my device. For a test, I put my phone at 25% battery and it was able to get it up to 100% in around 3 hours. In addition, the wireless Qi charging will remain active even after you take your device off it for a short period. This means I can pick up my phone for a little bit to check messages and set it back down without having to tap the button on the side to reactivate the Qi Charger. The only downside is that since the Qi station is on the back of the unit so you cannot collect solar energy while it is charging your device, but to accommodate something like that would require a redesign of the product. Wired charging is also possible. It took less than an hour to charge from 50% to full when using my USB Type-C charger. I still much prefer the wireless charging capabilities as it makes things much more simple, especially without having to worry about misplaced cables. The Flashlight is super bright and easy to turn on. Just hold down the Orange Button and it flicks on with strong intensity. To change the blinking pattern, simply tap the Orange Button once to cycle through the modes. The compass is handy, and I really like how it's built into the device rather than onto a carabiner clip. It doesn't exactly show which way is north a lot of the time, but it does get the general direction. Even then, the compass is not the main purpose of this device, it's a small handy feature. The carabiner clip is most likely my second favorite feature. I love how the clip is centered at the TOP MIDDLE of the device instead of a corner like other solar collecting power banks. This makes it much better and easier to stay clipped to my backpack and NOT flip around, which would interrupt the solar collection process. If I had to pick anything to complain about, it would be the time it takes to charge. But that cannot be helped. 20,000 mAh is a LOT of power. When I first got the device it was around 25% and it took overnight to charge completely. But with the solar panel keeping the device topped off and daily usage, it easily lasted me through a camping weekend. ... show more
