Every side has multiple ridges on the edges of the cards. They basically look like they were punched out from a larger sheet of card stock and the ridges are actually the tabs leftover from this process. The photos are of two of the sides as an example. Other than that they are nice, thick, beautiful cards. When folded they line up nicely with the edge. I have not tested the adhesive. They were packaged perfectly & withstood the thin plastic bag they were shipped in. Unlike the second set of cards I got from a different vendor. But none of that matters because the ridges on the sides ruins them. I'm going to try to cut the tabs off with scissors and see if that helps at all. Very disappointed. *Update: I was contacted by the seller & they offered to replace my order free of charge. I explained to them that I didn't think the new cards would be any different because I believe the tabs are a result of the manufacturing process. They said they would still like to send them to me, so I agreed. As I suspected, the new set had the same tabs but they are not as prominent as the first set I received. I did end up cutting off the tabs with sharp scissors and that seemed to do the job fine, on both sets of cards. Actually, the tabs look much worse when all the cards are stacked together but not as noticeable with a card by itself. I can see that some people might not be bothered by the tabs at all, but I also can see that they might be an issue if using them for something like wedding invitations. I appreciate that the company cared enough to contact me & tried to make it right. They did not ask me to change my review either. So for that I'm adding a star and also because the cards were able to be salvaged. If it wasn't for the "tabs" I would rate them 5 stars. The media could not be loaded. I was looking for some inexpensive cards that I could use to print Christmas cards for my family and friends for this year, to print on my antique letterpress. I just got this printing press a couple months ago, and I finally got it set up and running a couple weeks ago, so I was anxious to print some Christmas cards. I needed cards that were already cut to size, with the right size envelopes, and pre-creased to make it easy to fold. These fit the bill perfectly. I wasted some getting started, as I have never done this before, but once I got it going, I was able to print another box of 50 without wasting any. I want to be able to do some birthday cards and invitations in the future. These cards are excellent quality, the envelopes are very nice, shipping is very quick, and the price is really hard to beat. Highly recommended. ... show more
