I'm a NAVET writing letters to my son in the Navy and wanted something classy and mildly nautical to denote our shared Navy status without being hokey and kitschy. I couldn't find pre-printed stationery that wasn't awash in silly anchors and lighthouses so I bought this to stamp with my old Radioman sparks. I have a stamper and silver ink for the purpose and it's just the ideal paper for this. You could go the extra mile and use an embossing set. Sometimes a handwritten letter on nice stationary is just the right touch: It shows you know how to express yourself, without a Hallmark writer doing it for you. These are really nice and sort of a unique size. In the pictures on Amazon, they look darker, almost too dark, like a khaki, but they are not... a pleasant off-white. Love the off-white color. Reasonable thickness to card stock. Absorbs ink well. Envelope seals well with self-adhesive. Dependent upon what you pay, as I said earlier, at the price I paid which was discounted, it was a good value.

Sometimes an email is not enough to me. There are times when you want to send a personal note but putting it on notebook paper and a plain white envelope did not seem right. I bought this with the intention of trying to be more personal. I'm old-fashioned, I am old. I ordered this product about a year ago. It was a lovely, rich cream color, very warm and pleasing to the eyes. Now it is not. It’s just slightly off-white, and very bright. See pic for the difference. It’s still nice-enough paper, but because of the color I will be returning.

I have used two sets for invitations to a 50th High School Reunion. We grew up when people wrote letters, put a stamp on them and they were welcome at every home. Ivory gives them a touch of class. They were easy to put the school logo on with a message. I have done them all on my home printer.
