Style: Red Reticle

Features

  • [Bullet Rise Compensating Reticle] At very close distances the bullet appears to "rise" from the muzzle to meet the point of aim in the optic, due to the scope's mechanical offset or "height over bore." The BRC reticle offers dedicated holds for 5, 10, and 15 yards compensating for this effect
  • [Shake N' Wake] Shake N' Wake technology shuts down illumination after 220-230 seconds without movement. Once movement happens illumination immediately returns to the prior setting
  • [Holdovers] The BRC Reticle is broken down into the following holds when Scope is mounted on a firearm with an optic mounting height over the barrel.
  • [One Reticle, Any Caliber] The 50/200 yard battle sight zero is applicable only to 5.56 NATO and .308 Win calibers. The shorter holds will work with any barrel length or caliber. At under 15 yards, bullet paths have very little divergence, so a .22lr, 9mm or 7.62x39 have nearly identical points of impact
  • [Astigmatism] Excellent choice for someone with astigmatism who have issues with dot sights

  • great for asigmatism
this scope is perfect for anyone with astigmatism, the reticle is sharp with both eyes open and target-focused aiming. I am a bit nearsighted and I found that with the diopter ring tight all the way in is the sharpest, the scope actually corrects my vision and everything through the scope is sharper. backing off the diopter/focus ring a bit might actually be better so there isn't much of a difference outside and inside the scope. the auto-on and auto shut-off works flawlessly. ... show more

  • great for aging eyes!
so far, it's terrific. Zero'd quickly, ran on my AR9 for a PCC match, amazed at how easy it was to get on target at full speed.

  • Nice but,,,,,,,,
Overall the scope is very nice but, when I dial the diopter in for my eyes, the scope is less that a 1x. I would guess it's about 0.8x or so. However if I adjust it just to the point of the reticle going out of focus it is a true 1x. Just some to keep in mind if your astigmatism is very bad you'll have <1x. ... show more

  • Great scope for close range.
I am using it on a shotgun for home defense it works great for close range.

  • Just amazing
I have astigmatism so a red dot isn't quite ideal for anything beyond CQB. I was a little concerned about eye relief and eye box issues with prism sites. With this particular scope, I didn't notice either to be a problem. I mounted it over the ejection port of my AR 15 and the site was usable even if held further from a cheek hold. After zeroing at 50 yards, the reticle points for 15, 10 and 5 yards were quite accurate. I chose the swamp fox over other brands of prisms because the shake awake feature wasn't offered in the other brands. anyway, pleasantly surprised in the accuracy and ease of zeroing up to 50 yards. I'm shooting at an in door range so 50 yards is the maximum that I've tried. If I find a place to shoot longer distances, I will definitely try the Tri hawk which is similar but 3 X. ... show more

  • Perfect solution for my astigmatism
The diopter allows you to make the reticle super sharp. No need for back up irons with the etched reticle. Bullet rise compensator is a unique feature. Got rid of my red dot sight for this and it was a great choice!
