I like this cookbook, although my husband does all the grilling. Comprehensive, provides standard measurements and grams, beautiful illustrations and concise directions. Provides a variety of recipes, even for 1st time grillers like ourselves!

Let me start off by saying I hate cooking and feel incompetent in the kitchen. So when I say I like this book and now feel like I can actually help my wife and contribute in making meals, it's a big endorsement for this book! The photos really help me visualize the product meal, and the directions and list of ingredients are actually understandable for a person who hates to cook like me. Heck, I think I'm actually starting to enjoy making these tasty meals! Many cookbooks only have a few meals that apeal to me. This one has a good bunch that I'm looking forward to making. I really like this Blackstone cookbook! It's filled with interesting and tasty Blackstone recipes--from the proverbial Smashburger to more sophisticated, complex recipes. Each is illustrated with a photo of the finished dish and clear, easy-to-understand preparation instructions. Most valuable to me are the tips and techniques, which can be applied to the preparation of similar recipes. I'm delighted with the creativity of the recipes and helpful, never condescending, skill-building instructions and griddling tips. Well worth the price to me! ... show more

  • So many yummy recipes!
When my husband wanted a Blackstone, I thought it was just for breakfast, so I couldn't see the point of buying ANOTHER grill. In an effort to convince me it wasn't just a breakfast griddle and that he'd be whipping up all sorts of meals for the family, he bought this cookbook. We reference it regularly and have tried several recipes—all proving to be delicious and easy to create without a ton of ingredients. Now, I have to admit, it was a good move. The Blackstone isn't just a breakfast buddy; it's a full-time culinary champion.   • Great starter book
Great starter book for someone new to using a Blackstone griddle. Easy to follow instructions for seasoning the griddle for first use and instructions for maintenance. Also a lot of very nice recipes we’re looking forward to trying.

  • Love the spiral binding and full color photors
First off, there are some great recipes in this book. However, recipes are generally easy to come by. What ISN'T easy to come by is to have a collection of them in an easy-to-read, easy-to-see format. Traditional book bindings like hardback and paperback don't make it easy to keep a book open to a particular page for referencing while cooking. This spiral-bound book allows you to keep the book open to your spot very easily. On top of that, the pages are very sturdy and have great pictures and very good instructions to follow. I got this book for my Dad for Father's Day. It has many simple meals to whip up on the Blackstone Griddle. From breakfast, to dinners, to desserts, to other seemingly unusual meals on a griddle, this book is amazing with the full list of ingredients and prep time on the Blackstone Griddle.
