The original blackstone grills did not have hooks on the extensions to hold tools so the magnetic hooks are a great addition. The small metal strip to hold your main cooking utensil is a nice touch. The cover over the drip area, well wonder why the original cut out was soo big. Wonder why they never included a rear collection unit (So you could buy as add-on). But overall, nice little add-on. Just means you are buying into more blackstone goodies which they should have included in base package for price of unit. But so be it, lots of small add ons and for the price, great little set. ... show more

Fantastic finish and quality. Helps to ensure none of your food gets lodged into your grease trap. The durability of the stainless steel is great! Solid value for money at the price. Works well. Fit to size and easy to clean!

    • Does the job, but does have problems
Ok, but there are issues. They do their job, but do impede the opening and closing of the blackstone lid which can be annoying. Sometimes closing the lid you will have to shift / wiggle both the gate and the spatula holder, and of course they are often dirty. They will even get caught on lid as your raising the lid and fall off altogether. Our spatula holder is very loose and moves when doing anything be it setting a tool in it & opening or closing the lid. It's like the machining of it is off by about 3/16". That makes all the difference as there is little room between the lid and grill while closing. No you can't just squeeze it tighter either. If the sizing were machined correctly not only would it not shift when adding or removing a tool, the lid would close properly without getting caught while raising the lid or restricted while closing it. Magnets are strong, do not move, and handle tool weight fine. ... show more

Good add on for a Blackstone! The magnets are strong and hold things to the griddle! The trap cover is perfect as it lets you cover 95% of the grease trap keeping the food on the griddle. Tool less install, adds storage for an uninterrupted cook. Everthing fits well and there is no assembly. Also its stainless so no rust! Perfect addon or gift! ... show more

I consider these must haves for your Blackstone. I have way more utensils than the three hooks that come with the Omnivore setup. I also love the spatula holder more than I thought I would. Helps keep the side shelves from getting too much grease on them. And the gate keeper as I call it, keeps all the grilled veggies from falling into the grease collector.
