Blackstone should include these with the grill. It does all the obvious things, keeps the grill cleaner, holds in heat, helps cook things faster. It only gets 4 stars for two reasons. Handles get hot after a while and the interior hooks will squish your food.

The media could not be loaded. Really easy to build and set up on a Blackstone. It has little hooks that allow you to hang it on the back but obviously that distrupts being able to use the spatualla holders on the back. Thankfully I can fit mine on the front as shown in the first photo. My spatualla holder is off brand so that's probably the issue with the lid not fitting over the front "correctly" but still covers it. ... show more

Sturdy construction, easy to put together(just the handles), looks great, protects the surface. Pro's: Easy to install Sturdy, not thin Protects the cook top Protects from water and dampness Cons: Nothing at this time. In the end, I did not attach the lid to the unit. I just set it on the side when the grill is in use. This item helps to retain the cleanliness of the cooktop. This allows for less maintenance as at times the grill covers allow moisture in and such, so this is double protection so you don't have to re-season the grill top as much. Great unit.
