Short story: buy this griddle before it sells out. Long version, read below: This griddle has been absolutely phenomenal! From breakfast to fast break it has been awesome to cook on. I seasoned it properly and off we went. Dont get paralysis by analysis, if you’re looking for a griddle, get this set up. Even for two people, it’s great. It’s better to have too much and not need it than to not have it and need it. The hood and table are perfect and I think take this one over the top. Don’t worry yourself about seasoning and get tied up with the griddle masters dissecting every inch of the process. Turn it on high, coat everything with oil til it burns off, and do it again until you’re out of beer or you’re ready to cook.

I bought one for my husband and one for my son. They both enjoy cooking on it. They are easy to season (follow instructions) and clean up is pretty easy as well. They really like the fact that they can use it with the included table or can set it directly on a tailgate or other sturdy and heat resistant surface.

I've had the folding portable Blackstone for years. It's the coated non-stick top though. We wanted the steel griddle top just because (like cast iron pans) they get seasoned and it makes the food so much better. The shipping was a bit slow, but such is the times nowadays! It was packaged very well so no damage coming all the way across the country! I found the trick to heating is to turn it on medium heat to let it heat the whole top. If you turn on high to let it warm up, your hot spots are more noticeable and takes longer to get an even distribution. Honestly, cooking on medium is plenty for pretty much anything you want to cook. High gets too hot. Cleaning is more tedious than just washing a pan, but once it gets seasoned well it's not a big deal. Use water while it's hot to help loosen stuck food, scrape it down, coat with oil. The only thing I wish about this model is that it game with a couple of wheels on one side so you could easily move. I'm probably going to retrofit something for that because we move it in and out of the garage. I don't keep it sitting outside. Get one and enjoy!

Fantastic grilling options with this item, seller however took advantage of the pandemic and the price increased about $100 without me realizing it when I purchased it. Then they were hard to get so I sucked it up. A reasonable price on this item will be around $200. This seller charged me $350

Was nicely packaged, small amount of assembly which was simple. We love using this and our advice is dont hestitate, get yourself one today! We will likely buy a second one so can cook for more people. We are a family of 6 and when we make meat fried rice, it takes up all of the cooking space. Can grill up everything at once and fry up onions and sauté veggies all at the same time. Want a toaated bun? Throw those on after the hot dogs are done while the burgers finish. Love, love, love it!

This griddle is awesome! Packaged nice and tight, no dings or scratches on the unit at all. I assembled it in about 10 minutes. My only complaint is that my box didn’t have the adapter hose, however the seller refunded me the approximate cost of a replacement. Tractor Supply had a 12’ hose for $25. Fired up and seasoned with oil at high heats, I did 4 cycles which took about an hour. I have cooked at least one meal on this griddle every day since I got it!

I own a 17" and a 36". I purchased this 22" as an upgrade to the 17" for camping. When I received this 22", the box looked like it had been sitting in the rain for days. Upon removing the griddle from the box, the hood was scratched. No big deal since it will ultimately get scratched anyway. The legs are installed using nuts on the inside of the burner assembly. One of the four legs was missing a nut. No big deal, I found one that fits. The most important issue is a hole in the griddle on one of the corners where it wasn't welded correctly. I have attached a picture. This is a huge deal as fluids will drip out of this hole. Especially water when cleaning the griddle after use. I think Blackstone needs to rethink how they do Quality Assurance because right now, it's not working for them or their customers.
