I've had the folding portable Blackstone for years. It's the coated non-stick top though. We wanted the steel griddle top just because (like cast iron pans) they get seasoned and it makes the food so much better. The shipping was a bit slow, but such is the times nowadays! It was packaged very well so no damage coming all the way across the country! I found the trick to heating is to turn it on medium heat to let it heat the whole top. If you turn on high to let it warm up, your hot spots are more noticeable and takes longer to get an even distribution. Honestly, cooking on medium is plenty for pretty much anything you want to cook. High gets too hot. Cleaning is more tedious than just washing a pan, but once it gets seasoned well it's not a big deal. Use water while it's hot to help loosen stuck food, scrape it down, coat with oil. The only thing I wish about this model is that it game with a couple of wheels on one side so you could easily move. I'm probably going to retrofit something for that because we move it in and out of the garage. I don't keep it sitting outside. Get one and enjoy!

So, this Blackstone adventure griddle was purchased to cart around while camping. It's heavy but man is it awesome. I didn't initially want to buy into the whole "Blackstone is the best club" but after my father had received one from other family members and enjoyed it... I had to see what all the fuss was about! It cooks great, cleans up great, and the leg/stand kit was a nice adder so it wasn't sitting on my picnic table. Yeah, worth a buy... all you have to do if figure out what size you want! Happy cooking!

Was nicely packaged, small amount of assembly which was simple. We love using this and our advice is dont hestitate, get yourself one today! We will likely buy a second one so can cook for more people. We are a family of 6 and when we make meat fried rice, it takes up all of the cooking space. Can grill up everything at once and fry up onions and sauté veggies all at the same time. Want a toaated bun? Throw those on after the hot dogs are done while the burgers finish. Love, love, love it!

Super easy to assemble, both burners work great, the propane regulator works awesome. The only complaint I have is their QC department might need a kick in the pants. My griddle arrived with a weld completely missing on the back left corner. I had a tsunami of grease and gunk flowing on to my patio as a result. Easy fix with a little welding, I didn't want to go through the hassle of a return. Other than that snafu, I love the griddle.

Short story: buy this griddle before it sells out. Long version, read below: This griddle has been absolutely phenomenal! From breakfast to fast break it has been awesome to cook on. I seasoned it properly and off we went. Dont get paralysis by analysis, if you’re looking for a griddle, get this set up. Even for two people, it’s great. It’s better to have too much and not need it than to not have it and need it. The hood and table are perfect and I think take this one over the top. Don’t worry yourself about seasoning and get tied up with the griddle masters dissecting every inch of the process. Turn it on high, coat everything with oil til it burns off, and do it again until you’re out of beer or you’re ready to cook.

OMG, my husband loves it! He received it for his birthday and we have used it at least 1-2 times each week. It’s portable, so we took it camping with us too. We normally only cook for two, however, first cook was for about 6 of us and plenty of room. It was easy to put together, and use the stand when out camping, but it has a counter it sets on in the backyard.

This griddle make cooking fun. Start the longer time cooking food first & then move it over to a cool side & start the next item. When you're done, everything is still warm, and only one item to clean up. I bought the 22" to be able to toss it in the RV, but decided to try it out at home. I think I will now purchase a larger one for home. Great griddle and easy to clean.
