I have used these curtains in several rooms. I highly recommend for bedrooms. You can easily open them to let the light in, but they certainly darken a room if you close them. The overall look and feel of them is awesome. It's a steal for these curtains. I have seen this type of quality for much higher prices at stores. These make a huge difference! There is a light right outside of my bedroom, so I needed these just to block light at night. (Now I end up waking up later or weekends, lol) Photos were taken at 11am on an overcast day but you can tell how much darker the room is with curtains closed vs opened. I only had afew weeks to fix up my guestroom for my sister and brother-in-laws visit from Ohio. Panic set in. My guest room is both hot and bright. It's sits on the corner of my house with Southern Exposure all day. No trees for shade. I was hesitant on ordering online for curtains. When I got these I was so pleased! Only ordered 4 panels incase I didn't like them. After hanging what I bought, I got right back on Amazon and hit buy again! Once again seller got them to me in only 2 days. Love, Love, Love them! Used 6 panels in guestroom. Perfect! My blinds are just standard hardware store quility, so they don't help brightness or heat control at all. The drapes themselves are really heavy and well made. Not that snaggy material that grabs everything. Beautiful feel to them. They look super expensive. For a lady that lives in a doublewide with limited income, I was truly proud of the outcome. Trailers stay hotter than normal houses so it's a challenge keeping it cool. Room looked amazing when Sister arrived. Absolutely is making that room much cooler, and kept it dark so the sun didn't wake them up at 6am. This seller and these curtains will be getting more business from me for sure. I just received the curtains today. I ordered them in white, it’s 4pm and it’s cloudy outside and this is how they look. I’m not sure what to think of them. They do block sunlight better than others that I’ve bought, but I would not say they block them out completely, at least not in the white color as shown on these pics. I’m putting a pic of one of my windows with the curtains on and another pic of my window with them on. I’m strongly considering returning them. ... show more

I purchased turquoise... the picture is turquoise... my storage boxes are turquoise... these curtains are powder blue labels turquoise! 😡 now I have to return them wait for a refund and look for fricken curtains again! Not cool.

We were looking for a curtain that would block the hot summer sun and offer more privacy than what we had. These did that. pros: They do offer privacy and block the sun. I haven't washed them yet, but they claim to be machine washable. That is a definite plus for me. cons; Some HOA's and apartments require that only white shows from the outside. Whatever color you get will be the same color on both sides. I'm very disappointed that more emphasis is not made on the grommet color. These grommets are a dark silver. I had hoped to find an oil rubbed bronze or black. These look nice but I wish that a more accurate description was available. The grommets are not bronze! The curtains are also NOT insulated! These were perfect. Ive returned 5 different pairs that claimed to be blackout curtains but these truly are! I absolutely love the color and the material was way nicer than the expensive ones i had returned. Had to iron them but was well worth it since they look so great!! Returned this item because it was nothing close to the advertised color. I got the shade "Aqua" because in the examples it looked more like turquoise (not to be confused with the brand name) than any other shade. Unfortunately it doesnt look close to my idea of "Aqua" either; it's more like a light dusty blue. The pictures I included are the closest you will get to the true color not seen by the naked eye. As far as the quality of the product, they are soft and very nice looking. Good choice for the $$$ if you dont need to match a specific color. ... show more
