Trying to keep a 600+ HP BBC 502 cu.in. engine in a '41 Willys cool is no easy task when the radiator is as small as it is in that tiny engine bay. 2013 Subaru Outback. From the drivers seat it does not add any noticeable noise. The 12" diameter fits perfectly. Cons: The kit lacks any instructions. I am an electrical tech so this is not a problem but for anyone else this would be very intimidating. You will likely need to have more electrical connectors on hand. One of the relay socket terminals was not crimped tight enough and pulled out on its own after running a few minutes. The fan motor is only big enough to supplement an existing cooling system.     • Not main but helper it is.

Cheap and works well as a helper fan. I use two on my 95 GMC a/c condenser and made a difference especially when stopped in traffic and a/c now stays cold. A common problem these trucks have.

The media could not be loaded. I first noticed that mounting hardware, and the temperature sensor were missing. There were no holes in any of the packaging. Just missing items. I arranged the included items as they were presented in the Amazon photo, so you can see what is missing. Next I noticed that when I picked up the fan, I could hear pieces loosely moving around inside the motor. When I turn the blade with my finger, the pieces inside the motor grind, make noise, and the fan locks up and won't move. Whole order is bad, and now I must lose time to continue working while I await a new order ... ... show more
