I actually purchased this multitool based on a review by a YouTube channel I follow (PathLessPedaled). I swayed this way because of all of the reports of the Crankbrothers M19s rusting over time. I felt the finish on this tool would be more protective against rust. It does have a sort of unfinished feel though as the black tools feel rough in the hand. The chain breaker and quick link holder were cool plusses as I'll be less likely to lose one in my saddle bag in the future. My only other annoyance is probably the rubber band meant to hold it all in. Otherwise it's a pretty good buy. ... show more

The tool choice is great for me! It’s definitely different than other multi tools. Almost a luxury. My only complaints are it not having a chain clip to hold the chain when you’re working on it and it be black oxide instead of stainless.

Bought used but it still has the factory oil coating on it. I will definitely keep my eye out for used/returned items like this. Saved me about $5. Tool works great too!

This thing weighs a metric ton, the bolts holding it together loosen so the tools flop around all over the place, it rusts prodigiously, some of the hex keys have 90-deg. bends making simple tasks complex and frustrating, etc., etc. Pretty much the ONLY reason to buy this is if you absolutely, positively have to have a quick link tool with you. Considering the likelihood you'll ever use that out on the trail, you're way, WAY better off getting just about anything else. Terrible, terrible tool.
