Description

Black Sheep - Chris Farley stars as Mike Donnelly, the doltish younger brother of a gubernatorial candidate (Tim Matheson). Mike can't seem to stay out of trouble, thus potentially endangering his brother's chance at winning the election, so campaign aide Steve Dodds (David Spade) is assigned to chaperone him until the election is over. Not realizing that he is biting off more than he can chew, Steve takes Mike to the wilderness of Washington state, where the two men are ill-equipped to deal with the difficulties that nature throws their way. Penelope Spheeris (WAYNE'S WORLD) directs this slapstick comedy, which reunites the successful team from 1995's TOMMY BOY.

No matter what critics say, Black Sheep is a real funny movie. I'd almost say that it's almost better than Tommy Boy, but that wouldn't sound fair.     • A Hilarious Buddy Comedy That Will Leave You Laughing
Black Sheep is a classic comedy that stars Chris Farley and David Spade as two mismatched brothers who get thrown into a political campaign. Farley plays Mike Donnelly, a bumbling, well-meaning oaf who is tasked with helping his brother, Al Donnelly (played by Tim Matheson), win a race for governor. As the campaign heats up, Mike's clumsy antics and loveable personality threaten to derail Al's chances of winning. But with the help of Steve Dodds (David Spade), a cynical and sarcastic campaign aide, the two brothers must navigate the crazy world of politics to come out on top. What makes Black Sheep such a great movie is the chemistry between Farley and Spade. Their comedic timing and banter are spot-on, and their on-screen dynamic is what makes this movie so memorable. It's also worth noting that the supporting cast, including Matheson and Christine Ebersole, is fantastic and adds to the hilarity.
