I purchased this to use it off label. I found a deal on a dishwasher that was too good to pass on despite it being the wrong finish. I watched a few videos, took the door apart and got started. Most videos talk about two people doing the work. It was just me for the dishwasher door. Being that it was a smaller piece I was able to use the heat gun and various squeegee tools I had from a tint kit to work out any creases or bubbles. The heat gun is the biggest factor with this film. It let's you work out the imperfections that an amateur like me would have had to live with otherwise. It also helps to shrink it tight over curves and folds. Other than the shade being slightly different from the other appliances it looks like it was purchased with the matte black finish. I can only tell the difference when I hold the panel up to the other appliances. Sitting in place however you would have to know what you are looking for to notice. Durability seems to be good. I have 4 kids and it is a dishwasher, so it does experience some abuse. It has been on around 2 months now and I do not see any wear. I figure if I do see anything that is bothersome over the years I can remove and replace. This is better than the original because I would be stuck with it. It is also easier to keep clean that the stainless steel. I would recommend giving it a try even if you haven't put on vinyl before. Just watch some videos for tips, use the heat gun to fix your mistakes, and be patient. Very pleased with the results myself. ... show more

This vinyl has good adhesion, looks nice and seems to be of good quality. The only thing i have to say is that it is somewhat difficult to install. I dont think this is strictly due to this brand but more so, dealing with larger bits of vinyl all at once. Highly recommend watching the video on Youtube called "FESPA World Wrap Masters Wrap Training: Cold Pre-Stretch And Triangles" before you try to install wrap on a car. really explains and gives lots of tips to make it a LOT easier ... show more

It works great for wrapping my truck camper. I'm a newbie abd make mistakes but the thickness of this actually helps. It does take some time to learn the techniques and use it with a heat gun.

The wrap is pretty cool in quality and it’s fairly easy to install. I am new at wrapping so obviously there are going to be issues along the way however it still looks very good one applied. My only complaint is that there ended up being some kind of factory error on wrap and I had to cut a full panels worth off, I have alot extra so to me it’s not a huge issue but for other people this could be a no factor. ... show more

This wrap is absolute cheap garbage. It does not release bubbles well, it does not at all modle on the the surface of a cars body panel if it has the slightest curve to it. When you apply heat it shows no signs of shrinking like 3Ms wrap will. It glue that they use leaves a residue that's near impossible to remove if you've left it on for more than a year. It ruined my paint underneath the wrap as well. I used it on my hood a while back and then bought more wrap recently to finish a project only to find out this garbage wrap now is nothing compared to 3M. DO NOT USE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Wrap its lid very nice and looks great but was shipped without a box with just a little bit of plastic on the outside that was all torn up by the time it arrived. This cause damage to the outside of the wrap resulting in wasting part of it to cut the damage off. Shipping labels were also put directly on the wrap itself. Shipping time was good. I even bought another roll that was smaller and this one actually came in a box which is weird as the more expensive once’s didn’t. ... show more

The quality of the vinyl is exceptionally well for the price. Most of the problems I encountered when working with the vinyl had nothing to do with the actual vinyl and more to do with the fact that I was working alone as a first time amateur "do it yourselfer." The results however were satisfying even though I did not do a perfect car wrap. If you choose to try this product I recommend that you enlist a helper that can do simple things such as holding the vinyl while you heat and squeegee. Holding the vinyl, heating, stretching, and squeegeeing, is almost impossible to do with just one person. I can't stress enough how much simpler it is if multiple people help with the wrapping process. I have left a photo of a 2002 mini cooper vinyl wrapped matte black. Though my wrapping skills need practice I was happy with the results and the effort I put into it. Hope this motivates you! ... show more
