This is for the matte black vinyl, the blue/purple chameleon vinyl is the vinyl Frog brand. It was pretty pliable before adding heat so it was easier to work with than the other vinyls I had used but it was far less forgiving than any other, as well. Just a smidge too much heat left me with a satin-almost glossy finish. It also seemed to scuff easier (callouses on my hands ruined a couple spots) so make sure your hands/cotton gloves/felt tips on tools, etc are extremely clean before getting it within a yard of your project. The vinyl itself was nice to work with. It cut easily, handled well and stretched nicely. There are some imperfections in the pieces that I wrapped but that's from my inexperience and not the vinyl. This is my first real wrapping project and I've used 3 different brands of vinyl. My motorcycle isn't done yet so I can't post a finished picture yet. ... show more

I used this stuff to wrap the front of a portable AC unit. All of the furniture in my basement is black or with a wood grain pattern so the white AC was really out of place, it was practically glowing. I should preface this review by mentioning that I have never wrapped anything before. A while back I considered wrapping my laptop but with the way I'm so particular about very small details I always felt like the wrapping process would drive me crazy and I would never be happy with the end result. This AC project didn't require nearly as much precision as wrapping a laptop so I was willing to give it a try. The end result was pretty good. I ended up with a few creases toward the bottom around the left hand edge but it's virtually impossible to see that. I was mainly concerned with getting the front of the unit a smooth matte black. Mission accomplished. This wrap was fairly easy to work with. I was able to pull it off and re-apply it over and over as I worked my way down from top to bottom. I didn't have a squeegee or whatever other tools you're supposed to use, instead applying it by hand all the way down. I didn't use any heat at all either. On the bottom I had about a half inch of fold under so I used some electrical tape to secure the bottom edge. I'm not sure how well it will hold up but since it will be inside I think it ought to be fine. If it starts peeling off I'll have plenty more to try it all again. Final notes: - Dimensions: I dunno what dimension is supposed to be 2 feet, but this roll was absolutely not 2 feet in either dimension. I haven't completely unfurled it but I'm assuming that's the 5 foot dimension. The roll I received is 3 feet tall. So I'm pretty sure I received a 3'x5' product. This worked out ok but I was counting on the 2' roll as I would have only had to cut out my piece in one direction rather than trim it in two directions. - Packing: the outer packaging was a sturdy cardboard box with some paper which offered ample protection during shipping. However, there were two very annoying pieces of tape used to keep it from unfurling in its packaging. This tape left a slight oily sheen on the matte surface which I didn't realize until after I had cut the piece to size and applied it. I was able to "buff out" the oily sheen with a dry rag. ... show more

I like this vinyl wrap works great on certain things bit hard to bend with a heat gun into concave spots. I would order it again.

Tried this on my 03 Dodge RAM 2500. Just the hood. Let's just say,,, half of the hood looks fine and the other half looks horrible. Tried it by myself which was my 1st mistake,, Plus I'm a rookie with vinyl wrap. I've done a few interior parts before with a different material that came out decent. This material feels quite a bit thicker than some others I've tried, which in my opinion is harder to work with. Plus this stuff is crazy sticky and a pain to lift and reposition if any pressure is applied,,at all. Good thing a bought 2 rolls..lol Good luck y'all ... show more

I purchased 25 x 5 ft of this product and wrapped our vehicle. I needed another 5 ft for the roof. The adhesive was so aggressive that while trying to reposition the vinyl it ripped a hole. The first order was VIVID XPO and the second was VIVID Premium. The air regress was fantastic, but the reposition was not. I do not know how to realize what you are getting. ... show more
