Love this target for it's flat faces, light weight, and size. It's my second one and won't be the last. It will not last as long as the foam (EVA) kind, but it will last quite a while as long as you suck or aim at various places - if you drill the bullseye all day long you will shoot through it sooner than you think. ... show more

    • Highly mobile, excellent target
I shoot a 60# long bow at my 27" draw. This target is used in my back yard and I've had it for the last two weeks. It is highly portable, has a black side with no markings, which is perfect for hunting practice, and white marked targets on the other side which are sufficient for target practice. It barely moves when hit by an arrow and is very stabile while being reasonably light and easy to cary. My arrows only penetrate about 6-8", and the arrows are easy to remove. I have not tried broad heads yet, but I have yet to find a durable target for broad heads. If this will last for one season of broad head practice, it will have been well worth the money. I suspect it would last for many seasons with target tips. ... show more

    • stops my arrows well, but I have to keep readjusting the foam layers
I've been shooting a fair amount lately, the stacks of foam will start to shift and need to be readjusted so the whole target does not fall apart. The plywood at the top and bottom does not do much to keep everything together.

β€”β€” Update after 4 months - worn out after 1600 arrows - mostly recurve, 200 50 lb compound and a few heavier compound. Center 6 inch dia disc has half material gone. Stopping power - a 60 lb 323 ata rating compund will shoot through it and continue fly with small diameter arrows - 6mm OD. At 50lbs it will stop at vane. Shoot from 20-30 yard ballistic field point. For the price, stopping power and durability- 3 star. Form is not dense as claimed. β€”-original reviewβ€”β€” This is a quality target for its amazon price. Solid, yet not too heave. I expect it to stand 2000 shots. What about said: the target would with stand --------SAFE----------- Modern recurve bow - up to 40 lbs, or 50 lbs for large diameter arrows (23/64). Compound bow, < 300 fps rating (@70lbs) - 40 lbs with 6.5+ mm OD, it will stop the arrow within target. --- BE CAREFUL----- Modern Recurve, 50 lbs, <6mm OD, it will penetrate the target and stop in a few inches points out. Compound bow, 300-325 fps rating (@70lbs) - 40 lbs with 6.5+ mm OD, it will stop in target most of the time without point penetrate out.
