I use these gloves for my job every day at a challenge course. They protect my hands from rope burn and callouses. They feel really good but I am glad I ordered a size too large on purpose because they cover my ring very well. After experiencing blisters and skin flap from baleying, I was in need of a glove. The palm side of the glove is leather. It feels sturdy and work as intended. Also took it on a trip to Hawaii for some ropes climbing and it worked well in muddy condition.
