2nd time buying these. Belaying and rappelling is much nicer with gloves. Pretty happy with these but I wish they used real leather or thicker synthetic leather.

Durable and Comfortable!

I like these gloves because they cover my wrists. I don't use them for climbing, but was getting a band of sunburn when out hiking with shorter gloves. I also like the terry cloth section for wiping my brow and nose. They protect my hands except for the thenar space where I develop a calus. They last a very long time and are great when I have to use my hands when scrambling. Thank you Black Diamond!

These are not nearly as grippy as the old leather ones

These gloves are a lot lighter and more breathable than the old leather ones. Unfortunately they are also not nearly as grippy. I'd definitely take the weight and the sweat over these. It's too bad I can't find the old leather version anymore. I may have to try another brand.
