I have a traditional door-frame hangboard, but I relocate often, preventing me from drilling it into most of my rentals. This no-drill, quickly removable support is just what I didn't know I needed. Pros - A+ craftsmanship. - Sturdy and stable. - Now I can have a hangboard *and* be able to close my door on a moments' notice. - Disassembles and packs down flat. Perfect for transporting in my little hatchback. Cons - One less excuse to fall out of climbing shape every winter. (No worries though. I'm inventive and can come up with plenty of other excuses!) Tips - The video instructions are right on. I didn't watch it, and my first assembly took longer than I expected. I should have watched the video instead of vibe assembling. This support feels properly locked in. You know those pull-up bars that hang on your door frame and rely on gravity to not fall off? I once made the mistake of doing (in retrospect, very ill-advised) dynamic motions on one, and both it and I broke a little something. I've grown wiser and more cautious of such devices. While I won't be going horizontal or putting my head at risk without a crashpad underneath, I feel much safer with this support's design compared to the typical over-the-door apparatus.

I can't decide if this is a product I should recommend or not. Number one this does not come with a hang board. They don't advertise it, but it certainly gives you the impression that it comes with one. Especially when you consider the price. The price to me is astronomical, considering you just don't get much value when you can simply just screw a hang board into the studs of your house. But right, there is the true feature of this. This makes your hang board portable and movable and keeps you being able to train when you're at somebody else's house or do you want to switch rooms or whatever? It's very big as far as… We'll just the size of it. It's just big it's oversized. Hang boards are relatively small. This is at least twice as the size of a hang board in my opinion. My hand in the photo was for a size reference. I don't know. I don't see any value at the price. I think that's almost double the amount of value that you would get in return. It's very innovative, and I love when a company thinks outside the box. And I want to support the people in the companies that develop and sell those kind of products. I think it's a wonderful thing and it makes me happy every time. I see a company with a new vision for products that are already out there. And the craftsmanship and the quality is top-notch. And I mean that with all of my heart. It is a very high-quality design and it's put together by master woodworkers. It feels like. I mean, it's a very very impressive piece of woodworking. But at that price point, any thing that's made of wood better look like it's made from a master woodworker. Coming from me whose father-in-law and grandfather in law and great grandfather in law, all cabinet makers, and Stainers and wood workers trust me. I'm gonna let you decide and I'm not gonna recommend this one way or the other just because if it's something that you need and you can afford it then you already know that you want it and honestly you're not gonna go off of my review anyway. If it's something that you need, but you can't afford it then you're not gonna go off my review anyway either. Since it doesn't come with a hang board and you provide your own really it just boils down to do you want to be able to remove your hang board often? If so, then you need this. Even though it's made of wood, it feels every bit like it was made in a very high-quality factory or something. It's it feels like a mass produced in a and I mean that in a very good way… Some products you just can't make yourself at home that's what this feels like. It just feels to be unparalleled when it comes to the quality. I've never used the word unparalleled before in a review so that should carry some serious weight. This thing I think a second to none as far as quality and material materials.
