Easy to follow pictures for institutions. Don’t listen to the poor reviews. It is sturdy, great quality, and fits together perfectly. I will definitely suggest this item to others looking for a bookshelf. Each shelf can hold up to 50lbs which is important if you are using it for books. I wasn’t sure that this bookshelf was worth $130, but it was exactly the style I was looking for so I took the gamble. I wish I hadn’t. One of the two doors sits lower than the other, so there’s a larger gap above that door and the handles are at different heights. The instructions were wrong in several places - most notably the direction that the door handles are supposed to go. The bookshelf is white, but the wall-mounting hardware for tip protection is black. All of the metal side rails are slightly crooked, some more than others. I wish I could bend them straight but I’m worried that the poor welding would snap right away. And finally, the large silver screws are exposed all along the front and back of the shelves, which isn’t shown in any of the stock photos. I wish I could return this, but it’s never worth the hassle once the furniture is halfway built. This might be worth $50, but at $130 while cheaply manufactured and with incorrect instructions, it’s not worth the price or hassle. Edited to add one star back because if you don’t follow the instructions, you can hide the silver screws ... show more

Cheap product, I would be afraid to put any real weight on it. The side bar thats supposed to hold the books from falling off was welded in the wrong place as well. This thing is junk.
