I wanted to try an ultra-light-weight solution for activity (or steps) tracking, but didn't want to pay $$$, particularly since I wasn't convinced that smart-ring technology is mature enough and I didn't necessarily need the other more complex features all the smart rings come with (heart rate, sleep, etc.). Skeptical as to how functional this product could possibly be, considering the affordable price and unknown manufacturer, I ordered this "BiuEra" ring (size 10), thinking that at least it will give me some hands-on time with a smart ring, and probably the steps/activity would be counted in some way (?). This product has far exceeded all my expectations! Starting with the very nice packaging of the product, which was 10/10, this ring kept surprising me. It's comfortable, lightweight, the battery appears to be lasting long time, the app is clean and functional. Steps get logged continuously and there is clearly a correlation between the amount of activity performed and the number of steps logged (exactly what I wanted). Sleep monitoring is probably the best working feature, the stats that function produces appear to be reliable and insightful. You can manually toggle the device to measure your heart rate - and this instantaneous reading is accurate! Similarly, blood Ox concentration can be measured. Another cool feature is the remote selfie, triggering the phone camera with a flick of your fingers works well. There is an exercise mileage tracking tab that I haven't used since it's phone-gps based and not connected to ring, but I may try it out in the future also. The one feature that appears to be glitchy is the automatic and continuous heart rate monitoring. The continuously displayed value is off/higher by at least 10bpm every time I check it. If you set the app to log/track heart rate readings every 15 (or 30, or 45, or 60) minutes, all the logged values appear to also be unreliable / drifted up. This is particularly weird, since every time I manually trigger the ring to measure heart rate, the displayed value IS correct. Hopefully this is something that can be corrected in the future. Would also be nice if the "manual" readings were added to the trending graph for the day. For April 2024, and the low price, this product is AMAZING. The only problem is now I want a reliable heart rate tracking mechanism :))). If this company releases a BiuEra ring 2.0, promising to fix the few glitches, I will definitely buy it, even for double the price. thank you and keep up the good work. ... show more

App does not update and keep up with steps. Ring does not match fitbit. If I walk 1,000 steps, the ring may only count 138, for example. Love the idea, but execution is very poor, and app does npt work well. Uninstalled app, will be getting a refund for device.

Sleep monitoring and blood o2 to be passed on to the health app on my iPhone. I wanted something that would take the place of my Apple Watch while I sleep. As soon as I received this smart ring, I followed the included instructions for set up, and I was completely done in less than five minutes. The ring is light weight and very comfortable to wear. I could hardly tell I was wearing it. What's so cool about this smart ring is that it tracks heartrate, blood oxygen level, steps, sports motion, blood pressure and sleeping patterns, all while wearing a classy looking ring that is actually a tiny computer in a wearable accessory. The readings are close enough as far as accuracy is concerned to use for personal benefit and not necessarily for medical purposes. The ring is so light and comfortable that I can wear it to bed and not even realize it's on. What is truly remarkable about this ring is the price. For what you might spend on a meal out at a restaurant, you can have a tiny, classy computer tracking your vitals. This is definitely worth having. Did I mention that it's also water resistant? I was so excited to get this but equally disappointed that it didn't track my steps as advertised. At first it tracked some and then it seemed to catch up on steps taken. However, at the end of the day when I usually have 12000 steps it only logged 3000. I had walked over an hour and had a busy day so I know that wasn't right. Then I tried walking around the house several times and it didn't log any steps. I would not recommend this ring. ... show more
