  • Easy to use, clean floors after!
Style: SpinWave Corded
The short story is it is easy to use and works so well! I would purchase it again without a thought if i needed. Floors look amazing! The long story... I was hesitant to buy this but I really needed to get something. We have a 60 pound lab mix and just got an Irish Setter puppy. Both love going inside and outside all day. Vacuuming our house and using a hand push Bona just became impractical. (Tile downstairs and LVP upstairs, no carpet other than rugs.) I had been willing to pay the almost $1000 price tag on the Dyson Submarine, but the reviews and videos just didn't make me a believer. (We currently have a cord and cordless Dyson so we are already brand supporters). I found that this item and the product description made sense as well as the video and reviews. The packaging was over engineered, no chance the items inside could be damaged unless run over by a bus. Assembly was very easy, it was pretty much already fully put together. I can't say anything about the cleaning samples they sent, I have just been using water or water with a small touch of vinegar, but there were 3 that came with it. But my floors!!! Wow!!! I wet the mop heads before use with water and when I turn this on it simply glides over the tile floors. The amount of fluid you squirt while cleaning will lengthen drying time but my tile dries in about 2-10 minutes. The LVP I am more judicious with the spray so it dries faster, more like 1-2 minutes. The dogs walk around on the floors before the water dries but I never see prints when dry (tile and LVP are a faux wood plank, walnut color.) The mop heads are white when you get them but they certainly won't stay that color. The first use amazed me in how much dirt and dust we had... like ewe^10. After one use and a wash in the washer they were a light gray. After using them weekly for about three months they have settled into a nice medium gray tone after going through the washer. It amazes me how dirty these two dogs and two people can be! But my floors look and feel amazing. I do vacuum the floors first, then use the Bissel. For my downstairs (1000 square feet) I am done in about 30-45 minutes. Upstairs there are more items to move around as well as closets and bathrooms to go in and out of. I would say upstairs (1000 square feet) is more like 45 - 60 minutes. Again, those times include vacuum and mop use as well as dry time.) It comes with two or three sets of mop heads I think, but I bought extra so that I could trade them out as they got dirty and get a couple with more umph at scrubbing if needed. (Have not needed the scrubbers yet.) I use 2-3 sets downstairs since that is higher traffic and can usually get away with just one, sometimes 2, upstairs. They are velcro and I haven't had any issues with them coming off during use so far. The soft side of the velcro is on the mop head so they don't snag on things in the washer. I am 💯 in love with this product. I won't say I look forward to cleaning, but I do love how clean the floors feel to walk on after I am done. My husband is a super fan of the product as well!!! My dogs, the jury is still out with them. Added benefit - our puppy was smart and potty trained pretty easily. But there were accidents for the first few months. We got this item when she was about 2 1/2 months old, but the main room we kept her in had a little urine smell to it. After using this product for a couple weeks the smell was gone completely. ... show more

  • Don't Think Twice - BUY THIS!
Style: SpinWave Corded
I had this on my wishlist for a long time. I'd been using the ole Swiffer Sweeper and Swiffer Wetjet combo to try to keep my floors clean. The home I moved into had white linoleum tile in a high traffic room and with NC red clay, the floors ALWAYS had a film on them, no matter how many times I mopped. Using the Wetjet, you could see the reddish line where it would just push dirt around instead of picking it all up. On occasions I wanted truly clean floors, I had to do it old school, with a bucket and rag on my hands and knees. I looked at this Bissell mop and all I could think was I'm going to spend more money on something that doesn't do anything but push the dirt around. So I avoided buying it for a while. Finally, one day it went on sale and I decided to give it a try. I WISH I'D BOUGHT IT SOONER!!!! This thing has been amazing!!! It was super easy to put together and it runs really really quiet. I could probably use this while other people would be sleeping and they'd never notice it. I did use the sample solutions it came with but I love that I can just use my own solution, and add a few drops of lemon essential oil for a good smell, and not have to constantly buy those wasteful plastic containers like with the Swiffer. The pads are super easy to attach. The velcro is super strong and has always held. This thing FINALLY GETS MY FLOORS CLEAN!!!! You have to go a little slow to make sure it picks up everything but its worth it. My floors look sooooo clean. No streak marks. And walking across after, it FEELS clean on your bare feet. The ONLY reason I only gave 4 stars on Easy to Use is because I will say that when using it along corners or walls, it can sometimes get away from you. If you are older or have issues with your wrist, it may be a bit of a struggle. But that's the only downside I see. Otherwise, this thing cleans really well against the baseboards, around corners (obviously its not going INTO a corner) and I love that I can just toss the pads in the washing machine after I get done. I used this for about two weeks then threw out my Swiffer Wetjet. I still use the Sweeper just to collect the dry debris before I mop, but I'm so happy to be able to have clean floors finally!. ... show more

  • So glad I found this
Style: SpinWave Corded
Excellent floor cleaner. This takes the work out of mopping. The pads attach by Velcro to the unit. It cleans better than anything else I have used. It require little physical effort. It turns and get in hard to reach places. The pads wash nicely. It has a lot of power to get the job done. It plugs in so no battery required. Excellent quality. ... show more

  • Better than most electric wet mops
Style: SpinWave Corded
I previously used a Shark sonic duo, which was a two speed unit that shuffled the pads forward and backward. It was easy to navigate and did an excellent job. Compared to that, the Bissell Spinwave does about as well, although with a few differences. a) since the spinwave pads move in a circular fashion, if you accidentally let a pad touch a floor rug, the unit quickly spins out of control and you must fight it back into position (why? because while the pads travel in opposite directions keeping the unit straight on a smooth surface, if one pad hits something, the whole unit spins according to the direction of that one pad) ; b) the pads on the Bissell are either soft or scrubby, but not both at once like the sonic duo. So, if you change your mind while mopping, you must stop and change the pads. c) the cleaning solution for hardwoods seems to dry fast and leave no residue, although it is not "shiny" as they claim. I believe the solution from Bona actually leaves a better finish, and should work just fine in this machine. d) since each pad is moving in only one direction, the fibers tend to get dirty only on one side, leading to less capacity to hold dirt. You'll notice this when you remove the pads to clean them. Whereas, on the sonic duo the fibers were forced back and forth, allowing dirt to collect on both sides of the fibers (twice the holding capacity). But, knowing this, if you are working in a large area, or more dirt than usual, you learn to simply change pads more often. e) The sonic duo had led lights on the front, allowing you to really see where there may be water spots or other dirt that needed extra cleaning. This unit has no lights. Overall, I'm still quite pleased and think it will work fine. It's just requires a few changes to my routine. The pads seem to be tough and durable and should last a long time. They also clean up well. I don't machine wash them, rather I wash by hand with detergent and a brush, then wring them out and hang to dry. ... show more

  • Love my new floor mop!
Style: SpinWave Corded
It is easy to use and cleans my floors better than the flat plastic stick pad mop I used before. I think the spinning cleans better and I have used it on sealed wood and tiled floors. The only issue is getting into tight corners when the pads are circular but they can be done easily before I start or after the floors are cleaned and dry. The length of the cord works for my purposes. Washed the pads after using and with being white they do show a bit of discoloration from the dirt they scrubbed off. Not a game changer for me… ... show more

  • Great on hardwood floors.
Style: SpinWave Corded
Love this machine. I own about 6 floor cleaners. Mostly Bissell and Shark. With a large dog and little granddaughters this is a great addition to my cleaning routine. With babies on the floor playing I love that I can see the dirt it removes. Pads are soft and non damaging thus far. Works great on my new hardwood floors. I don’t use it on the floors to often as I’m not sure of long term use on the finish. Great for a once every two week deep clean between regular mopping. Leaves no residue. Floors look great. Light weight. Easy to manage. I wish it came with two solution dispensers so I could easily switch from hardwood to stone. Other than that it’s a 5 star. ... show more

  • Great buy!!
Style: SpinWave Corded
I absolutely love this. I love that I can throw the scrubbing pads in the washing machine when I'm done instead of wasting money on disposable cleaning pads. It also came with three mini bottles of cleaning solution which was nice. Some of the reviews say that it doesn't clean very well.. this isn't meant to clean a farmhouse kitchen that's had Farmers track cow poop and their kids track chunks of mud through the kitchen. I think for anything that heavy and crazy you're obviously going to need something heavy duty. Take those reviews with a grain of salt lol. I don't know how anybody can look at the product and think it's going to clean that kind of material without prepping first but I digress. I have now cleaned every wood and linoleum surface in my house with this and it's amazing. I put a little pressure on it and move it like a vacuum cleaner and it works very well. For some of the harder stickier stuff on the kitchen floor I spray those and let it sit for a minute while I clean other parts and then come back to it and it comes off. I love this thing it saves my back and it's so easy to use. 10 out of 10 recommend ... show more

I live in AZ and have tile floors. AZ is dusty. It cleans the floors well but there are a few cons. Pros -lightweight and easy to use -Easy to set up and use -practically runs itself -glides along the wall Cons -cannot access corners well -does not fit under certain pieces of furniture -were I cannot reach I have to use a mop -button to spray cleaning fluid and turn "on" button too close together, I turn it off quite often ... show more
