Added to Bubba's Rowdy Friends in my carpet cleaner because 3 of Bubba's friends live in my house (2 puppies + 1 kid). Didn't have high hopes for this because nothing sold by a leading carpet machine has ever worked after the rowdy friends trample thru the house. Between the two products it looks brand new up in here. Eliminated all odors, dirt, stains, etc. I swear it even made the carpet look brighter which is really impressive considering it's the landlord's special in beige. Will be buying more!! ... show more

    • FAREWELL TO YORKIE PEE PEE SPOTS !
I bought the 1 st bottle of this at a home improvement store. Was very iffy about it, until......later that day when I tried it. I was amazed that it completely removed days old spots on my bedroom carpeting. Poof gone like magic ! I kid you not ! I followed the bottle directions, and added the specified amount to the carpet steamer, along with the carpet cleaner solution. It worked like a dream. I had bad vibes about possibly having to tear up that carpet and replacing it, again ! I have 2 Yorkies, and 1 suffers sporadically with episodes of pancreatitis. Very painful for the dog, but treatable and preventable, just NEVER feed the dog anything other than THEIR Rx dog food, & they will be fine. A Grandchild or someone who had stopped by obviously without my knowledge, fed Lucy a cookie or something from the people food line....the next am I woke up to runny dog crap everywhere...…! I used this particular product and it got out every bit of the mess on the rug. I am still amazed at how well it worked. Now, here is how I use this Bissell cleaner an untraditional way. IF they get excited and pee somewhere, I blot the pee up, with paper towels, then squirt this on the peed area. It dries as if it was never there ! SUPREME ! I liked this product, the original stuff I'm supposed to buy for my carpet cleaner works.. but this stuff gives it an extra bit of kick! You just add a little of this after you add your regular solution. Hope this helps y'all! 🙏

I have a very large area rug in my kitchen that desperately needed cleaning. It had black automotive grease from my husbands shoes, a very large cooking grease (fried Chicken) spill and a dog urine stain from my elderly arthritic mini schnauzer (first time ever). I didn't think it would come clean, but I spot treated the areas with this Bissell Oxy Boost then with Bissell's 4x pro max with Fabreze. I let the problem areas soak while I started shampooing the rest of the rug. I added this oxy boost to the 4x pro max solution in my Bissell machine. The rug came out good as new! I would have gotten the 3x with oxy, but I wanted the power and fresh scent of the 4x, so I purchased the oxy boost separate. ... show more

    • My expectations may have been too high, but....
I think my expectations were too high. It did help remove extra soil, but did nothing to tough stains. I had an area rug that my dog threw up on, and my son rubbed it in. I tried to clean it with a pro cleaner first, then added this boost. It did nothing for the orangish stain I had already tried to clean (and I pre-treated the puke stain initially as well). So the pretreated area seemed to have no impact on. It did however turn other areas of the area rug a very light beige from a what was appearing to be a more neutral beige. That said, it wasnt an even clean. It started pulling up just small uneven spots. I would recommend just buying a pretreater if you are trying to get up touch stains. If you want to revive your carpets, this might help, but it also might do what it did to my area rug, which is make cleaner light spots and not an even clean (making a bad situation worse).
