I’ve had this for about a week, and I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by this little machine! First off, it has maybe the easiest set-up of any product I have bought in recent memory. Twist off the base, take the filter out of a bag, drop it in, twist the base back on, and you’re done. Plug it in and get going. Operation is simple and intuitive with the buttons on top. The size and weight allow it to be moved where it’s needed, without taking up too much space. My nightstand is 16” x 25” for spatial reference. There is a nightlight feature that I think looks neat regardless of time of day as well. As far as function, this purifier does its job. If I place it in a room and shut the door, and come back an hour or two later, the air is noticeably fresher. This summer has been really bad with pollen and allergens in my area, and humidity has been high as well. Add a dog to that mix, and I’ve not been getting the most restful sleep. Since running this nightly, I certainly have felt better in mornings. I won’t say this machine is 100% the reason as there’s always multiple factors at play but I haven’t had a headache or scratchy throat in the morning since I’ve begun using this, so that has been a HUGE plus for me. My only knock, which is subjective and not even really a complaint is the noise level on the HIGH setting. “Whisper Quiet” is accurate for LOW and MEDIUM but on HIGH it might require you to turn up the volume on the TV for example. I wouldn’t sleep with it on HIGH, as another example. Very minor thing in the big picture, but if you expect to not hear anything as it operates on HIGH, that will not be happening. There are 3 settings. I keep mine on the 2nd setting because of how noisy it is on the 3rd one. I keep this unit in the bathroom. After a few minutes, I could tell the difference in the air quality of how fresh the bathroom smelled. The main reason I bought this unit was to get a fresh smelling bathroom & to eliminate the white dust all over everything. I’m wiping down everyday. No matter how much I cleaned, it never smelled fresh. There is a tiny window that doesn’t allow much fresh air in the bathroom. Now I know this will help. I also like the nightlight that I have control of turning on or off. I will be leaving this one on 24/7. I have another Bissell unit (similar to this one) in my bedroom that I just love. I leave on 24/7 & it helps with my sinuses, asthma, allergies & food/cooking odors ( I use in conjunction with a candle & house’s fans). Sometimes roommates get carried away with what they’re cooking. I am very happy that both my units use the same size filter. The units automatically indicate when it’s time to change; although, you will notice lint accumulating on or around unit prior to the indicator light & you can change it than.     • Too hard to get lid off for filter changes.

The design is nice, I liked that it easily moves when you move it with your foot. Other then that I have no way to review how it functions because I cannot remove the lid on it's underside to change the filter. Therefore, I have no idea if there's a full filter or a pristine filter. My neighbor removed it the first time to get the plastic off when I first got it- because I was hurting myself trying to get it off. And sure, I watched videos etc., been buying products for 50 years. But this lid will not readily come off! Do I have to ask a muscle man to to this each time? That's not realistic. Anyway, I bought a different purifier. Just thought I'd try this one more time for work, since I bought filters for it. Tried and trying, but it's on there like concrete! It's a year after purchasing so can't send it back but that's a shame. ... show more
