I don’t know why I got so stressed when I needed to order one of these for my bed. I looked at many different brands and read multiple different reviews. I chose this one, because I liked the darker brown color. It looks great as expected. It also looks just like all the other brands that I have ordered from Amazon that have these. I do like the elastic band on this one possibly more. Some reviewers talk about wrinkles and other things, but all the ones like this are truly all the same. I have learned to only buy the ones that have the adjustable elastic band like this that fits at the top of the mattress unseen. The older types that go under the mattress and over the box springs are not optimal anymore. You basically have to move the mattress to get them in place and then when you pull on them to make them hang perfectly, they end up ripping at the seams over time. For some reason, I tend to spill a Coke or a glass of milk off my bedside table and it always hits my rug and the dust ruffle. This dust ruffle is so easy to remove, wash and then replace. Wrinkles are not a problem with any of these if you just fluff them in the dryer a few minutes before you place it. You might have to untangle it some which is easy. If there are still any wrinkles left, they come out after a few days of them hanging. What is important and what you need to look at is the size and the length. In my opinion, you should size up. A king size looks so much better on a queen size bed and a queen size looks so much better on a twin size bed. They are kind of like drapes this way. If they are pulled tight and look straight, they don’t look very good. If you have extra fabric that ripples in folds, it changes everything and looks so much better. When it comes to the size, a longer one is so much better. If it is too short it is more likely to move around and look ridiculous, especially if the bed is not made perfectly. I like the longer length that starts on the very lower part of the mattress that has the fitted sheet on it and then have it almost touch or barely touch the floor. If it is too short it does not hang right and having it on the very lower part of the mattress actually keeps it where you want it, instead of it slipping around on the bed frame. I am very happy with the quality and look of this product. I have a split king which can raise or lower the bed as needed. , The difficulty was when one side was raised, the bed ruffle flipped off. NOT 'slipped' off. The bed skirt took on a personality of its own and sprang into action! A word to the wise: Buy 2 bed skirts to fit each half. I installed the king on one and bought a full size to fit the other bed frame which is a twin XL. I should have purchased the queen to get about the same look in the ruffle. The full is a tight fit on the twin XL. Not too bad if you like a straighter look. ... show more

I hate for my bedskirt to touch the floor for spiders to crawl up. I even put Vick's Vapor rub around my bed post feet, to ensure that the critters don't climb in and bite me. Weirdo? Yup. This bedskirt is hiked up to 2" from the top of my 10" mattress, which sits atop a 9" foundation. Perfect for me. For those who like the skirt to touch the floor, hiding boxes under the bed and keeping dust from collecting beneath it, they can attach the elastic bands about 1" from the top of the box springs/foundation, and let the skirt flow to the floor, and beyond. The skirt was awkward to attach at first, but once I got used to it, it became so easy. The only negative is, I have a poster-bed, and for the skirt to hang right, it would need to be cut at the 2 rear posts. (the front is open, so it's fine as is.) I don't own a sewing machine, and am not about to sew 4 hems by hand, so the skirt will have to stay as is. If you have the right size bedspread, most of the skirt will be covered up, so the color match won't matter much. I'm waiting for a gold satin throw pillow to arrive, replacing the blue & white one on the bed, and tie it all in. An affordable, washable, and attractive bed skirt...Enjoy! ... show more

The material is great, looks posh, and wrinkles came right out during 20 minutes in the dryer. But the queen size was tight, kind of skimpy, and didn't have any fullness. I had already altered it by cutting and sewing slits to accommodate my bed posts, so I ordered another one in king size and it was perfect. It’s perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I recently threw out my old bed of 20+ years and bought a nicer 13 inch mattress with a metal frame in the bottom that’s exactly 14 inches in height, to raise the bed and avoid using the boxspring. Long story short whenever I make the bed half way instead of fully covered it expose the bottom of the bed where I keep my shoes and it’s mostly empty. I couldn’t really use a bedskirt normal one because I am lacking a boxspring. I could still use a stretching bedskirt variety,, but I would have to connected to the bed itself, which of course would make it extra work, making the bed in the morning. Plus run the risk of it falling off. What I did was basically connected to the metal frame itself, and it gives the illusion of having a boxspring. The back of it also has an adjustable strap on the headboard section. That you can use to tighten to get it absolutely perfect. I didn’t have to do anything. I simply bought one for the size of my bed and the distance from the ground of the from the metal frame and connect it to the metal without having adjust anything. I jump around between half way made bed with a comforter in the bottom, or fully covered. Everything has a very clean look now. ... show more

It has three sides for the skirt and the part that goes at the head of the bed has two elastic straps that are adjustable. It's like a wrap and sooo easy to put on.
