I don’t know why I got so stressed when I needed to order one of these for my bed. I looked at many different brands and read multiple different reviews. I chose this one, because I liked the darker brown color. It looks great as expected. It also looks just like all the other brands that I have ordered from Amazon that have these. I do like the elastic band on this one possibly more. Some reviewers talk about wrinkles and other things, but all the ones like this are truly all the same. I have learned to only buy the ones that have the adjustable elastic band like this that fits at the top of the mattress unseen. The older types that go under the mattress and over the box springs are not optimal anymore. You basically have to move the mattress to get them in place and then when you pull on them to make them hang perfectly, they end up ripping at the seams over time. For some reason, I tend to spill a Coke or a glass of milk off my bedside table and it always hits my rug and the dust ruffle. This dust ruffle is so easy to remove, wash and then replace. Wrinkles are not a problem with any of these if you just fluff them in the dryer a few minutes before you place it. You might have to untangle it some which is easy. If there are still any wrinkles left, they come out after a few days of them hanging. What is important and what you need to look at is the size and the length. In my opinion, you should size up. A king size looks so much better on a queen size bed and a queen size looks so much better on a twin size bed. They are kind of like drapes this way. If they are pulled tight and look straight, they don’t look very good. If you have extra fabric that ripples in folds, it changes everything and looks so much better. When it comes to the size, a longer one is so much better. If it is too short it is more likely to move around and look ridiculous, especially if the bed is not made perfectly. I like the longer length that starts on the very lower part of the mattress that has the fitted sheet on it and then have it almost touch or barely touch the floor. If it is too short it does not hang right and having it on the very lower part of the mattress actually keeps it where you want it, instead of it slipping around on the bed frame. This bed skirt does the job. The color was as expected. The fabric was the perfect weight and it came right out of the packaging with no wrinkles. Because there is no split or opening, it doesn’t work well if the bed has a foot board. The elastic prevents it from starting stationary. Maybe if it had a couple of velcro pieces to attach to the fitted sheet or mattress to prevent sliding. I like it enough to try to make those alterations because it can work. Ruffle looks great on the bed when bed is flat. Problem is when bed is adjusted, both top and bottom go up. I have purchased clips to keep in place, but it still rides up when adjusted. The quality, weight, softness is great. I have no wrinkle problem. It’s durability is great because it gets stretched when bed is in adjustable position. Perfect for our adjustable split king bed, which is two extra long twins. Purchased two twin dust ruffles and instead of putting the elastic at the headboard, I put the elastic buckle in the middle as each mattress, (inside as they operate independently of each other so there would be less fabric to get caught up.
