These are my favorite style of Birkenstock sandals. They are wide enough to fit my extra wide foot, and treat the bunion with care. So comfortable with the best arch support ever! I have worn this style for many years and am never disappointed. Just make sure you get the real Birkenstock sandal. There are knockoffs out there that aren’t good at all. I am usually a 9.5-10 and ended up ordering the size 40 (9-9.5) Regular width- since all the reviews say it runs big. The size is exactly my foot size so I maybe could’ve gone with one size up (the 41)… I will be keeping them anyways and hope the sole molds to my feet with time and fits better (less snug). As for the company, it shipped super fast and I received it a few days earlier than promised. I got the “oiled black leather” which has more of a matte look which is nice!

Perfection. I love these shoes. My mother always swore by her Birkenstocks, but I always thought it was her inner hippie coming out. As I got older and everything started to ache, including my feet, I decided it was time to give into her suggestions and try my own pair. At first I wasn't sure, these things hurt badly after wearing, they pressed on places on my feet I'd never experienced shoes touching After taking some time and reading several things about wearing Birkenstocks and the process of breaking them in, I did just that. I wore them for an hour or two a day (in my home, so I could take them off if need be) for about three weeks until my feet adjusted and the shoes molded to my feet. Now, I don't ever want to wear anything else. My whole body feels better when I wear these, they've definitely improved my posture and I notice less aches and pains in my knees and hips while I'm wearing these shoes.

Wore Birkenstock’s many years ago, took a brief break and my feet are happy and I’m hooked again. Love these Mayari sandals. No break in time. Wore them all day straight out of the box. Mayari is a little more feminine look than the Arizona or Florida models, can be casual or dressed up a bit. Once you know how Birki’s are to fit, your feet will thank you.
