These shoes are warm and cozy and very comfortable. But, I have the black with the black shearling, and the black shearling leaves my feet and nails with a black cast from the black dye. Not so big a deal during the winter, but I use them as slippers and summer is coming. I purchased these months ago and the dye continues to bleed onto my feet. I have at least 45 pairs of Birkenstock’s, from sandals to shoes. I’ve wanted to shearling clogs for a while and was excited to find them. My black suede regular Boston’s need to have the cork and sole replaced. I’ve procrastinated sending them in and decided I could hold off even longer if I got the black suede shearling Boston’s. I received them today. I was a bit confused because the shoes weren’t in a Birkenstock box, and I use the boxes for storage from season to season. I open up the box, and the one clog has white stuff on the bottom, in the sole with a hair in it! They don’t look worn, but if so,Rome returned these, why wouldn’t the seller check them out first and wipe off the sole? It’s gross. It kind of reminds me of Oreo filling, which I hate Oreos... anyway, with the non Birkenstock box and the stuff on the bottom of the Boston’s, I’m questioning the authenticity of these shoes. I tried on the non-soiled shoe and The fit is ok, I felt it runs a little short. I can wear a 40 or 41. I found that 40 usually fits better, but I got these in a regular 41 after reading that the shearling made them a little small, which they definitely do. I will be sending these back. ... show more
