I have had Birkenstock sandals before and they last for years and are very comfortable. My last pair I'm still wearing after 14 years. I decided to buy a new updated style and absolutely love them. Since I'm between a size 6 & 6 1/2 I purchased a size 37. It does have extra room on the back but still fits nicely and is very well made. I would highly recommend them. ... show more

I am a true size 6 and the sandal did not fit. It did fit a friend who was a size 7 so I gifted them to her. Great shoe other than the fact it runs large!

I am so dissapointed with what happened with these sandals. After having worn them for a little over a year, they have broken. Having said this, I will say that I loved them so much! They were the most comfortable pair of sandals/shoes I’ve ever worn on my feet. I’ve seen plenty of reviews about fake Birkenstocks being sold by Amazon which makes me so angry! After having checked my Birks and comparing with a friend who bought from the original retailer, I am still doubtful about whether my shoes were real...which is quite sad... These are shoes that are meant to last a long time with good care! I have never worn my shoes in the water or exposed them to excessive heat. I did wear them every day which explains the wear you see on the soles but if you look a the straps they’re still in good condition other than where they broke. They broke while I was walking around the house, nothing extrenuous on the shoes. I really hope that Amazon can do something about this... especially if they’re selling fake birkenstocks...... ... show more
