    • Finally, a waterproof version of my beloved Birkenstocks
I have worn Birkenstock sandals for years. Decades really. I suffer from plantar faciitis at times and these are the only brand of sandals I can wear that will keep that in check. My only complaint ever was that Birkenstocks don't wear well when wet. Enter Birkenstock Essentials EVA! I gather I'm a but behind the times and these have been around a bit, but they are new to me this year. I had to have a pair. I loved them so much, I talked my 3 kids and husband into Essentials EVA sandals. At the price point, they were cheaper than any sandals out there with decent support. Everyone but my son loves them (he's 11 and still adjusting to supportive shoes). My husband loved them so much he had to order a 2nd pair when he realized he'd left his at a hotel. I have one issue with the shoes and I'm convinced it's me, not the shoes. I have issues with them sticking to my feet unless I am in wet conditions. So does my son. BUT, speaking for myself at least, I have that issue with ANY waterproof shoe (why I didn't take any stars). I bought the Arizona style myself and I think that design adds to my stick age issue. Next time, I plan to get a Gizeh pair. I think they'd be better for my sticky feet 😉. And there will be a next time! ... show more

    • Cute, but ran too big for me
I have been wanting the shoes FOREVEE, I finally purchased them for myself… Waited a long time for the delivery… And was truly disappointed when they ran too big. On a positive note, my mother-in-law wears a size larger than mine… So she will receive the shoes as a gift. Although I am truly sad that I could not wear them. ... show more

Either They sent me the wrong size or their size chart is wrong because the shoes I ordered were way too big. Like 2-3 sizes too big. I ordered what I normally am in U.S. sizing.
