I finally got the correct size after 2 other returns and I had to buy mens. Amazon recommended a 10/41. I wear a European 40 and US 10. I went with their recommendation and way too big. I went down a size and still no go. I chose these as my 3rd option and I love them. Brings me back, way back. I lived in Birkenstocks in my 20's a hundred yeas ago. These are the perfect size for my size 10 feet. They must run big or something. I also live in a climate that lives in flip flops so my feet have gotten a bit wider, but these shoes run wide, too. Very happy finally.

I purchased the black suede arizonas in 36M EU and they are absolutely perfect!! I wear size 6 womens and the length of the shoe was maybe 1/3 inch too long and a bit too wide for my toes in the front, but after tightened all the straps to the max they fit perfectly. I don't even have to break them in. So if you are in size 6 womens i would say go for size 35 EU (you don't have to tighten the straps that much) or size 36 EU (have to tighten the straps all the way). The shoes arrived completely brand new with the soft footbed, no visible flaws and in the right size and color. I love the suede because it's so soft and comfortable and the black matches with everything. I'm really happy with my purchase and I recommend birkenstock arizonas to everyone!

I won't sugar coat the review at all. I think these are worth the buy, they ARE a little pricey in my opinion, and you really shouldn't walk long distances in them, especially if you have medium to wide-sized feet. They can be tight after awhile. But for casual use, and for a nice summer look / outdoorsy-looking comfort shoe, they do the trick fine. Just know it isn't going to make you forget you're wearing it, it's only moderately comfortable.

I had two pair of Birks back in the 90's when I was in high school. Having grown up along the beach they were daily wear. I loved them and had them for over 15 years when they were consumed by a puppy. I know they are considered "dated" but looking back it wasn't until I stopped wearing them regularly and started wearing more "stylish" shoes that I developed my knee issues. I decided to purchase a pair for the weekends and for traveling around over the summer (I no longer live where it's summer year round) and have found a good winter pair of shoes as well. I have decided in my now old age that I would rather have shoes that look a bit dated but keep me moving than have the most fashionable pair of shoes that leaves me in agony. All hail the Birkenstocks and Danskos! I will find a way to make them look amazing with what I wear. Also - no I'm not a hippy or wannabe hippy. Just someone with knee issues from playing sports at a young age - though I might embrace the hippy look if it keeps my knees happy! The only reason I knocked a star off of these is because the ones that I received had a mark on them, like a slight defect. This won't prevent my wearing them or loving them... but I'm not entirely sure that we aren't getting the blemished ones by ordering from here.
